Lala Kent steps out with her two daughters in Palm Springs after escaping ongoing LA fire

Lala Kent looked relaxed and refreshed as she stepped out with her two daughters in Palm Springs over the weekend.

The 34-year-old reality television personality is mom to Ocean, four in March, and Sosa, four months.

Days ago, the Vanderpump Rules alum took to social media to reveal that she was heading south to escape the poor air quality in Los Angeles amid the city’s ongoing wildfire crisis.

The fires, which have raged on since last Tuesday, have displaced celebrities and working class citizens alike.

For her outing, the Utah native was casually stylish in a crew neck white sweatshirt and matching sweat shorts.

She showed off her toned legs, adding heeled black cowboy boots and a nondescript black baseball cap.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Kent said that the poor air quality was making it difficult for her younger daughter to breathe.

She wrote via the app’s Stories feature: ‘This morning Sosa woke up and was really struggling to breathe.

‘I made the decision to pack my family up and come to Palm Springs, strictly based on the air quality. This is where we will stay until LA is safe again.’

Lala gave birth to her second child, who was conceived with a sperm donor, on September 3.

She shares her three-year-old daughter with ex-fiancé Randall Emmett.

The somber post from the reality television star continued, ‘This is one of the most devastating situations I have ever seen.

‘At this point, if you were not directly affected, you know someone who has lost everything.’

Pouring her heart out to her 2.4 million followers, she went on to say, ‘I’m obsessing over how we could be so underprepared.’

Kent, who lives in the valley, said her ‘heart is shattered for my community.’

She told her fans, ‘We have not been directly affected, and I’m trying to feel grateful for that — it’s hard because of what I’m seeing other people go through.’

The star expressed feeling ‘sad,’ but also ‘angry’ as she emphasized that there are ‘looters’ and a ‘lack of water.’

But, she said, ‘I’ll save that rant for a later date.’

In a second Instagram Stories post she acknowledged those working diligently to get the fires under control.

‘For now, all I want to do is say thank you to our firefighters and first responders. Our city’s heroes,’ she wrote.

Closing out her posts, she added, ‘And to everyone affected — I know you feel alone. You are not alone.’

The devastation in Southern California began unfolding last Tuesday morning when the combination of heavy wind and a lack of rain created the perfect condition for a brush fire.

The flames quickly spread throughout the Pacific Palisades, which was home to celebrities including Reese Witherspoon, Anna Farris, Tyra Banks, and many more.

Now, more than 22,000 acres of land have been scorched in the Palisades fire alone, with firefighters are still working around the clock to contain the flames.

Paris Hilton, Hailey Bieber, Chris Pratt and his mother-in-law Maria Shriver are just a few public figures who have asked for prayers amid the unprecedented wreckage.
