Ben Affleck was seen having an intense conversation with law enforcement officers as he pulled out of his driveway in Brentwood on Tuesday – just two days after his home received a shock visit from the FBI.
FBI agents and deputies from the LA County Sheriff’s Department were spotted arriving at Affleck’s home on Sunday. Agents waited outside the gate to his property for several minutes before leaving.
They were allegedly investigating an incident in which a private drone collided with a firefighting aircraft, damaging it, TMZ reports.
Affleck’s home is not located in an evacuation zone, but he lives near the Pacific Palisades, a neighborhood that has been devastated by one of the fires.
On Tuesday, he was spotted in his car exiting his Brentwood home, where a law enforcement vehicle was seen just outside his gate.
The Argo director appeared stern, gesturing emphatically out his car window as he spoke to the authorities in front of his house.

It’s unclear if the Armageddon star was home when the visit occurred.
His $20.5 million home has so far escaped unscathed from the LA fires, even though the Brentwood estate is on the border of Pacific Palisades, which has been devastated by the blaze.
As of Tuesday afternoon, 24 people have died in the Palisades fire and the Eaton fire, which originated in Altadena, near Pasadena, according to a release from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
The FBI agents and Sheriff’s deputies appear to have used the call box next to Affleck’s driveway gate, but the gate was never opened.
One FBI agent was seen wearing a short-sleeve shirt bearing the bureau’s logo on the back, while another person wore body armor bearing the same logo on the back.
At one point they walked up to the gate, possibly to call over it.

The safety of Ben’s home has seemingly been up in the air in the past week, as it is located so close to the Palisades fire, which was only 13 percent contained as of Sunday evening.
Last week, the actor-turned-director was pictured looking shocked as he returned home in the evening as flames were visible nearby.
Ben quickly evacuated and then rushed over to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s nearby home in Brentwood to help her and their children get to safety.
He seemed to be particularly focused on family over the weekend when he was seen giving his oldest daughter Violet a loving hug.
Although with the 19-year-old Yale student, Ben also shares Fin, 16, and Sam, 12, with Garner, whom he married in 2005 and split from in 2015.

Although many celebrities have been devastated by the fires, countless more people who are not wealthy or famous have been displaced by the ᴅᴇᴀᴅly blazes.
Last week, DailyMail.com learned that Affleck has ‘no plans’ to attend the upcoming Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, where his ex Jennifer Lopez’s remake of Kiss Of The Spider Woman will be premiering.
Ben was a producer on the project, just like he was on her recent film Unstoppable, but he has opted to sit out their publicity campaigns to let his ex shine.
