Jane pointed out: ‘It’s a very strange career you’ve gone for, given the general anxiety about a lot of thing…’

Will confessed: ‘I don’t know why I did it, the busier I’ve got… the last couple of years have been amazing.

‘But I do now live in a permanent state of terror.’

He then explained that he’s worried about his career coming to an end, and people saying horrible things, and just ‘general anxiety’ about it.

Will added: ‘I’ve always had issues with anxiety.

‘But this has massively heightened it. I’m waiting for it to subside. To get easier.  But maybe it won’t.’

The TV star took on the role of Big Brother host when the popular ITV show got rebooted back in 2023.

Will decided to have therapy before taking on his big presenting role two years ago.

Before the launch of the first Big Brother reboot series, I got EPMD theory, I did it for a specific reason.

It’s a specific thing for overcoming, not general anxiety, focused anxiety. ‘

Will explained that his biggest fear on the launch night was that he was going to get a dry mouth.

He explained to the panel: ‘I did this type of therapy, which disassociates you with negative thoughts associated with specific scenarios and I didn’t get a dry mouth!’

The host believes that he’s suffered with anxiety since he was young, and he also has health anxiety too.

‘I remember as a kid, as what I discovered what cancer was, and I was like oh that sounds bad oh no I’m going to get that,’ he told the panel.

‘It’s always been bubbling away.

‘The health anxiety thing I’ve been wanting to get a hand on.’

And his worry has now turned to his Tibetan Terrier called Sandwich.

Will explained: ‘I’ve now transferred a lot of health anxiety to my dog.

‘I’m constantly checking him.

‘He’s got a skin tag, but you scroll the whole way through Google, it’s bad.’
