A teenage EastEnders star was bombarded with hundreds of messages by an obsessed stalker who harᴀssed her for seven months.
Ellie Dadd, 19, was targeted by Cora Upple, 21, in a sick campaign of abuse, court records have revealed.
Fan-favourite Ellie plays Amy Mitchell and has been a regular feature of the iconic soap since 2022.
Upple, of Rainham, Kent, would ‘post stories and posts tagging the victim in them, and about the victim’, Medway magistrates’ court heard, as reported by The Sun.
Her campaign was deemed to have ‘amounted to harᴀssment’ and the actress had to take out a restraining order.
Upple also admitted that she had violated a further stalking prevention order, which was issued in October 2023.
‘This raises concerns for all celebrities as to whether they are protected from people who don’t understand the impact of stalking,’ a source told the newspaper.

The offence was admitted in August, and she was handed a suspended nine-month sentence just before Christmas.
She was also given a five-year stalking prevention order.
Ellie joined EastEnders in 2022, with four actresses previously carrying the role of Amy Mitchell.
The role was recast in preparation for a new raft of coming-of-age storylines, including bullying and self harm.
Ellie, from Bromley, Kent, has previously starred on the West End in Matilda the Musical and in the BBC hit Silent Witness.
Ellie Dadd’s representatives have been contacted for comment. The BBC declined to comment.
