She wore the same dress twenty-two years ago when she won Best Actress for her role in Monster’s Ball.
And now Halle Berry proves she hasn’t aged a year as she gets back into the same Elie Saab gown to walk a Saudi fashion show.
A mesh bodysuit decorated in leaves paired with a ruby red skirt, Halle, 58, first wore the gown in 2002 when she accepted an Oscar for 2001 thriller Monster’s Ball.
She was also the first Black woman to win an Academy Award.
The dress was considered a watershed moment for Middle Eastern designers at the time and helped make Saab a household name.
It was then displayed at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles.
On Wednesday night Berry took to the catwalk in Saudi Arabia in the exact same dress for the Elie Saab event for Riyadh season.
Walking down the catwalk, the audio played: ‘And the Oscar goes to, Halle Berry.’
She then sat in the front row as the brand showcased its collection тιтled 1001 Seasons of Elie Saab.
Meanwhile the event continued as 300 looks were displayed as well as performances from Celine Dion and Jennifer Lopez.
Dion, 56, dazzled in a pink shimmering gown as she performed The Power Of Love and I’m Alive.
Ms Lopez, 55, also sang four of her hits and performed a dance routine as she was carried by a group of suit-clad men.
The show marks Dion’s second public appearance since her performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony after it was revealed she has been battling stiff person syndrome – an autoimmune disorder that causes muscle stiffness.
Before the show she said: ‘Being here for the first time is kind of a dream come true.
