In an era marked by slouchy, oversized hobo bags and purses laden with bag charms, Gigi Hadid is zagging where others zig.
Today, the model was spotted layered to perfection as she paid a visit to Bradley Cooper in New York. Ever an eclectic dresser, Hadid wore an off-white tee printed with the image of a cowgirl and a tomato-red cardigan (which we suspect comes straight from her knitwear brand, Guest In Residence), keeping warm with an eggshell quilted jacket complete with a patchwork breast pocket.
Hadid continued the cozy theme with her Birkenstocks Boston clogs and a pair of multicolored socks mirroring the bright colors on her patchwork jacket. Going incognito mode, she topped it all off with a Kith x TAG Heuer baseball cap, a pair of geometric sunglᴀsses, and a handful of gold chains.
Yet while Hadid embraced a more-is-more approach with her clothing, her bag was telling another story: She carried a miniature ʙuттer-yellow Loro Piana bag barely bigger than her fist. This is the bag of a woman who has it all together—someone who needs next to nothing to go about her day. There will be no rogue receipts, spilled ibuprofen, or spare lip glosses floating around this purse!
Hadid isn’t the only celebrity who’s rubber-stamped the Loro Piana micro bag lately: Sofia Richie Grainge has been particularly partial to the blue ostrich iteration. While she and Gigi Hadid have totally different senses of style, they’re proving that there’s a tiny purse for everyone.
