Katy Perry fever has officially hit Melbourne with the US pop star touching down ahead of her anticipated set at this weekend’s AFL Grand Final.
And the Teenage Dream hitmaker gave fans a special treat with an impromptu meet and greet on Wednesday.
Katy, 39, looked stunning in a form fitting ankle-length black dress from Parisian designer Coperni as she posed with fans outside Channel Ten studios ahead of her interview on The Project.
The stretch dress featured a high turtleneck and gave off futuristic vibes thanks to circular silver embellishments.
The stunning dress clung to Katy, showing off the pop star’s enviable form.
She finished her ensemble with a pair of simple black pointed heels.
Wearing her raven locks tied back for the occasion, Katy accessorised with some silver ear bling.
She finished her look with a light rose blush and a matching shade for her lip.

Hundreds of fans waited patiently to snap a selfie with the pop idol, and Katy was only too happy to oblige.
Looking totally in her element, Katy happily hammed it up with fans as she posed for numerous sH๏τs.
She seemed genuinely chuffed to be in the company of so many adoring fans, beaming broadly as she got up-close-and-personal.

While there were plenty of fans clambering to get some time with their pop idol, there was one in particular that caught Katy’s eye.
One superfan brought their pooch along for the meet and greet and the cute-as-a-ʙuттon pooch was decked out in an outfit that proclaimed ‘I Love Katy Perry’
The sentiment was not lost on the Roar songstress who took time out meeting with her human fans to give the puppy some special attention.
She even went in to give the super-fan pooch a kiss before gratefully signing the doggies outfit.

It appears that Katy Perry and the AFL have ʙuттed heads over the songs the US pop star will be singing at the upcoming Grand Final in Melbourne.
The hitmaker was announced as the headline pre-game act for next weekend’s clash back in July.
Appearing on SEN Breakfast on Monday, veteran AFL journalist said Tom Morris claimed that Katy’s team had pushed back against an AFL request that the Teenage Dream hitmaker perform just one new song.
