Katy Perry flashed her toned stomach in a blue crop top as she announced the release of her new spring collection with online retailer AboutYou on Wednesday.

The Firework singer, 38, stunned in a chic and colourful video as she displayed the new range with up-beat music and sharp editing.

It comes after the success of Katy’s 81-piece capsule range in November, where she put her own ‘twist’ on autumnal classics for the European online retailer.

For her latest collection, the American Idol judge chose vibrant colours including a royal blue crop top with a burnt orange bucket hat, as well as a yellow ‘Stella’ dress.

She also wore a gorgeous patterned white-and-blue blouse that showcased a slight portion of her toned midsection.

Her gorgeous dark brunette hair cascaded onto her chest and back and contrasted perfectly with the bright tones of her look.

Meanwhile she made quirky facial expressions, including pouts and looking shocked, bringing her character and personality to the video.

The announcement was accompanied by a personalised note from the singer herself: ‘You Guys! My second collection with @aboutyou is out now.

‘For this drop we went for mix of bright vintage prints and abstract floral motifs – perfect for your summer style.’

The mother-of-one went on to express her sense of humour by making a throwback pun to one of her chart-topping hits.

She added: ‘Limited supplies avail! Make sure these ain’t the ones that get away ok see what I did there wow what a dork.’

The announcement was met by floods of comments from her adoring fans.

One said: ‘Serving again, ily,’ while another added: ‘KATY PERRY 2023 COMEBACK’ and a third said: ‘a businesswoman AND a model’.
