Katy Perry was greeted by fans as she arrived at the Galeao International Airport in Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday ahead of her headline Rock in Rio performance on Friday.
The singer, 39, was said to have been handed a red heart by one of her fans as she left the airport holding it in her hand.
Katy cut a casual figure in a pair of stylish Adidas joggers, which she had teamed with a scoop neck white vest top.
The mother of one opted for comfort during her travels and sported a pair of green and yellow flip flops to greet excited fans at the airport.
The Teenage Dream hitmaker completed her look with a black cap, shades, and an ᴀssortment of layered necklaces.
She looked in high spirits as she flashed a smile for those who were eagerly waiting to meet her at the arrivals gate, holding up a red heart she was gifted by a fan.
Rock in Rio is a biennial Brazilian multi-day music festival held at City of Rock in Rio de Janeiro.
Katy is headlining Dia Delas on Friday, which is a day to celebrate the power of female artists, boasting a 100% female line-up.
Also performing at the festival, which takes place between Friday 13 September and Sunday 22 September, are Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons, Travis Scott, and OneRepublic, amongst others.
With a special program to celebrate the festival’s 40-year history, there are over 700,000 music fans expected to arrive.
Rock In Rio has also branched out into other locations such as Lisbon, which took place in June this year and saw Jonas Brothers, Doja Cat and Leigh-Anne Pinnock take to the stage.
Katy’s airport appearance comes just after she shared her reaction to the recent viral pH๏τo of her fiancé Orlando Bloom taking an admiring glance at Kim Kardashian’s famous derriere.
The singer appeared on the Elvis Duran Show last week, where she discussed the image she and Orlando, 47, took with the reality star, 43.
‘It’s you taking a pH๏τo with Kim Kardashian, and Orlando is staring at her,’ the host said, while laughing. Katy chimed in, ‘at our,’ and Elvis completed the sentence, ‘at her ʙuтт.’
