Bella Hadid was (cowboy) boots on the ground in Manhattan this week to bring her obsession with horses, cowboys, and riding to the city streets.
While Western chic has become a trend in the last few years, with cowboy hats, boots, and bolo ties making their way into everyday style, Bella Hadid has actually been living it. As a certified horse girl and now partner to a real-life cowboy, Hadid came to New York not for fashion week, but to perform an equestrian sport known as cutting.

A street in the Meatpacking District in Manhattan was closed off and turned into a mini equestrian ring — complete with dirt and all — as Hadid and her boyfriend Adan Banuelos mounted their horses and showed what they could do.
The event was to promote Windows to the West: Horse Sense, a documentary film from Teton Ridge that tells the story of Banuelos.
Hadid, ever the supportive girlfriend, was all smiles as she arrived in full cowgirl gear, walking hand-in-hand with her man. The supermodel wore sensible jeans and riding chaps, boots, a black ʙuттon-up silk shirt, and a chic black cowboy hat.
