She is one of Britain’s most famous actresses, most famous for her role in the Harry Potter franchise.
And Emma Watson cut a low-key figure as she stepped out with a male pal in Venice, California on Wednesday.
The Beauty and the Beast actress, 29, nailed casual chic in a baggy black sweater paired with gold patterned palazzo pants as she strolled with her companion.
A source has told MailOnline: ‘Emma is pH๏τographed with her old friend from Brown University. They are just good friends.’
The star boosted her height with a pair of black bow detail sandals, which revealed her silver pedicure.
Her caramel flecked brunette locks were styled in loose waves while the star hid her sparkling peepers behind stylish shades.
The Bling Ring star’s pal looked stylish in a black hoodie and ripped jean shorts, paired with monochrome trainers as he walked alongside Emma.
Emma will next be seen on-screen in the remake of Little Women, slated for release on December 25, 2019.
Little Women, originally penned by Louisa May Alcott, tells the story of four sisters, coming of age in America, in the aftermath of the Civil War.
She’ll star alongside Florence Pugh, Timothée Chalamet, Saoirse Ronan and Meryl Streep in the latest box office offering
In her romantic life Emma was last seen kissing handsome businessman Brendan Wallace during a sun-kissed getaway to Mexico in November of last year.
Brendan is a Princeton University graduate with an MBA from Stanford University. After getting his start as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs, he went on to work in real estate private equity, before starting his own business.
The businessman, in his late 30s, co-founded Cabify, the Latin American Uber. He is the co-founder and partner of Fifth Wall, an investment company.
Before that, Emma was last seen with her ex Chord Overstreet back in late June, when the two were seen kissing pᴀssionately in Los Angeles.
Emma and Chord met at the end of 2017 shortly after Emma’s two-year relationship with tech manager William Knight ended, and were pictured frequently during the first half of this year.
Emma insisted in an interview last year that she would never talk publicly about her relationships, explaining: ‘I’ve noticed, in Hollywood, who you’re dating gets tied up into your film promotion and becomes part of the performance and the circus.
‘I would hate anyone that I were with to feel like they were in any way part of a show or an act.’
Watson also explained to Vanity Fair in February 2017. ‘I can’t talk about my boyfriend in an interview and then expect people not to take paparazzi pictures of me walking around outside my home. You can’t have it both ways.’
