Zendaya was engrossed in conversation with Spike, 67, who wore a graphic grey T-shirt and stretchy navy trousers.

She towered over the 5ft6in director as she extended her already statuesque 5ft10in frame with high heels.

Also at the event was Zendaya’s loyal stylist Law Roach and the likes of Charlize Theron, Serena Williams, Elizabeth Banks, and Tyla.

The men also showed up in full force with Zendaya’s The Greatest Showman co-star Zac Efron and basketball legend LeBron James both in attendance.

The star-studded event comes after reports that Zendaya has a strained relationship with Sam Levinson, the creator of Euphoria, the show that sH๏τ Zendaya into superstardom.

The two allegedly fell out after Sam, 39, ‘turned his attention’ to the controversial and ill-fated series The Idol instead of Euphoria’s much-anticipated third series.

An investigation by THR claims Zendaya’s ‘frustration grew’ after Levinson failed to deliver scripts for Euphoria’s third season – which is still yet to begin shooting – and that the actress asked for a meeting with HBO’s head of drama Francesca Orsi and CEO Casey Bloys.

It was claimed she was ‘demanding to know why the network allowed Levinson to turn his attention to another show — an HBO show, no less — with Euphoria hanging in the balance.’

Zendaya and Sam had at first been close pals but their alleged rift heightened in March 2023 after Rolling Stone published an article claiming The Idol had had gone ‘disgustingly, disturbingly off the rails’ with a toxic work environment.

The show was regularly criticised by both fans and critics alike for the many gratuitous Sєx and masturbation scenes peppered throughout the series – and was branded ‘torture porn’.

The series – which was canceled after just one series – saw Zendaya become the target of fan backlash over the project and the star was said to be upset over it marring her ‘pristine image.’

An executive who has worked with the star said ‘fans were turning against Sam’ and ‘urging Zendaya to distance herself from him’.

However, HBO sources says relations between Zendaya and Sam have now begun to thaw – ahead of third season filming in January 2025.
