ACTRESS Zendaya’s is at chains to make a good impression, but manages to keep herself in check.

The US star, 25, wore a chainmail crop top to a London Film Festival event to promote sci-fi movie Dune in which she plays Chani.

The remake is set to be the first in a two-part adaptation of the book by Frank Herbert that has been described as the best science-fiction novel of all time.

Zendaya stars alongside Timothée Chalamet, Jason Momoa, and Rebecca Ferguson, while Denis Villeneuve is directing.

Already the film has built up a lot of buzz and received an eight-minute standing ovation at the world premiere in Venice..

The film is billed to hit cinemas and HBO Max , those with an ad-free plan, on October 22, 2021.

Last month Zendaya disappointed fans when she was unable to attend the Met Gala due to a scheduling conflict with production for season two of her HBO Max series Euphoria.

“I will be on Euphoria,” Zendaya told Extra TV. “My fans are going to be very upset with me.”

She added: “I will unfortunately not be able to attend because I’ll be working for Euphoria.”

“I got my time off to come here and do this Venice [Film Festival] experience, which has been really, really special.”
