She’s 21 and already has a Hollywood career spanning almost two decades.
And on Monday night, Elle Fanning celebrated the upcoming release of her latest movie Maleficent: Mistress of Evil at a premiere for the movie in Los Angeles.
The actress reprises the role of Aurora in Disney’s sequel to 2014’s Maleficent, a live action version of Sleeping Beauty.
Fanning arrived at the premiere in a gown fit for a princess and designed especially for the occasion by Gucci.
The green chiffon dress had drop sleeves and silver spaghetti straps and a thin silver belt.
It had a flowing train and was decorated with silk flowers, long purple ribbons and, in tribute to Sleeping Beauty’s pricked finger, beaded red blood drops.
In Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil, Fanning reunites with Angelina Jolie as Maleficent.
Set several years after the first movie, Aurora is now queen of both the magical and human kingdoms following her marriage to Prince Phillip.
Michelle Pfeiffer plays Phillip’s formidable mother Queen Ingrith and the newly-married Aurora finds herself increasingly drawn into Ingrith’s world.
The Queen, though, seeks to use the marriage to drive a wedge between humans and fairies forever setting up a showdown between her and Maleficent.
