Elle Fanning has been on a fashion parade while promoting her new film, Maleficent, in which she plays Princess Aurora.
On Wednesday the 16-year-old actress did not disappoint as she headed into David Letterman’s New York City studios to tape her appearance.
Dressed in a pink ʙuттon-down-top with matching slacks from In God We Trust, she looked like a breath of fresh air for the spring afternoon.
After getting out of a black Mercedes-Benz sedan, the star strode along in stylish green-and-blue sandals with a Lucite heel that showed off a pale pink pedicure.
Her jewelry looked like a lot of fun as she wore at least seven rings and several bracelet.
One of the baubles had a round pink stone surrounded by diamond.
She also had on several midi rings.
Elle wore her blonde hair sleek and straight with a side part.
Her eyes were covered with a shimmering bronze shadow and her lips with pink gloss.
She signed autographs for eager fans before heading into the studio.
Her live action Disney film opens on May 30 in the US.
For a Malificent pH๏τo call in London on May 8, the teenager looked just as stylish in a beige outfit that had a top and ruffled skirt.
Her co-star Angelina Jolie was just as chic in a white to-the-knee dress that had black birds on it perched on branches.
Maleficent themed heels added a fun touch.
The actresses stood arm in arm against a poster for the fantasy film.
Jolie stars as her nemesis, the evil Maleficent, with Elle feeling rather intimidated by the actress at first.
‘She is the most elegant lady in the entire world,’ the Super 8 star told Fashion magazine. ‘When she walks into the room, everyone looks and notices… she has such presence and she’s really that powerful.
‘No one else could play Maleficent. I was nervous to meet her at first… she’s like the queen. When I met her during rehearsals, she immediately grabbed me and hugged me and then I was fine.’
Elle also revealed the film that sparked her desire to act.
‘The Seven Year Itch made me so obsessed with Marilyn Monroe and acting,’ the sister of Dakota Fanning said. ‘I watched it when I was seven – way too young to see it – but I was Marilyn for Halloween that year.
‘There is so much depth to her because of what she went through in her life. You can see that in her performances. It never looks like she’s faking anything.’
