Chris Hughes gave a gushing four-word message to JoJo Siwa on Sunday as they celebrated a special day together.

The dancer, 22, and Love Island star, 32, finally confirmed that they were dating earlier this week following weeks of frenzied speculation, with the couple travelling to the Cotswolds on Tuesday to meet his family. 

And over the weekend Chris told JoJo: ‘You blow my mind every day’ in a video posted to her Instagram Stories.

As she shouted out to some of her nearest and dearest to mark National Best Friends Day, she ended with a clip of her and Chris.

She captioned the post: ‘My bestest friend of em all’ followed by a white love heart emoji.

Over the weekend they enjoyed time in the Cotswolds as JoJo shared snaps of them holding hands together on Chris’ family farm.

She penned in the caption: ‘Nothing beats wholesome & pure days like these.’

It comes after earlier this week JoJo revealed the moment her bond with boyfriend Chris blossomed from friendship to romance.

JoJo and Chris had originally formed a close friendship while meeting in the Celebrity Big Brother house in April, but the Dance Moms star has now revealed her feelings for him changed when she returned home to the US.

Speaking on Gyles Brandreth’s Rosebud podcast, JoJo shared insight into the beginning of her bond with Chris, gushing that she was ‘lucky’ he felt the same way about her.

JoJo also shared her plans to get a matching tattoo with Chris, as well as inks paying tribute to her time in the CBB house. 

Asked what first attracted her to Chris, JoJo said: ‘When he first walked in, he was the only person that I knew what they looked like before coming into the show. I was ”Oh that’s the Chris guy”. 

‘Initially the first thing that I took in about him was he was a good hugger. I liked his hug. That felt like a nice embrace. And he smelt good – ‘he seems cool’.

They also enjoyed a cosy evening watching the TV together on Sunday

‘We just kind of bonded right away and it started very much so as friends.

‘I wasn’t looking to fall for him. He wasn’t looking to fall for me. We just were having so much fun together. Whenever one of us was down it was the other one of us that helped.

‘Everybody got to see when he was there for me at the beginning. There was a day – it was Easter – and he was having a really, really rough day. 

‘And he was in the diary room for a really long time and I was freaking out, because I was like ‘Something’s wrong’.

‘Everyone was like ‘calm down’, and I was like ‘No, something’s wrong’.

‘And he came out of the diary room and he was like ‘I had a stomach ache’. And I looked at him and I was like ‘you’re not good’. And I just gave him a hug.

‘We had a talk and he really opened up and he wasn’t ok, he really wasn’t ok. I was able to be there for him. We had more fun than I’ve ever had in my life in that house.’

Reflecting on when she left the CBB house, JoJo added: ‘Leaving the house, you’re in this bubble of Big Brother, so leaving the house I wasn’t sure what was going to happen.

‘But I had all these realisations of my life, things that I wasn’t happy (about), that I was being ok with that I should never have been ok with. ”I’m not happy, so I need to handle things”, and I did very quickly once I got out of the house.

‘Then over a little bit of time I realised that I started to feel something for Christopher that I never intended, but I couldn’t not feel.

‘And I’m a very, very lucky girl because he was feeling the same thing.’

‘We were watching Who Wants to be a Millionaire? And the answer to the winning question was serendipity and somebody replied ‘and do you know what serendipity is, it’s you and JoJo’.

‘And we googled it and both of us freaked out because that was the million dollar question.

‘The word serendipity is Christopher and I’s favourite word now. If you read the definition of it, it’s essentially finding love when you’re least looking for it. It’s beautiful. I don’t know how the universe did align for Chris to come into my life.’

Sharing that she hopes her relationship with Chris will ‘last a lifetime,’ JoJo then shared her plans to get a matching tattoo with him, with a nod to the ring that he gave her in the CBB house, which she wears on a necklace. 

She told Gyles: ‘The Chris tattoo, I said in Big Brother that I would get this bamboo stick. And I said that I would get a little bamboo stick tattoo, and I want to get two other tattoos from the Big Brother house of memories that I have from in there.

‘I would get that because as much as that relates to Chris, I can deem it not bad luck by placing more on Big Brother.’

Despite jetting to Mexico to surprise her for her 22nd birthday last month, proceeding to mark the milestone with the singer and her family in Orlando, and later sharing a steamy bedroom selfie, JoJo played coy about their relationship status until earlier this week.

A source also previously told DailyMail.com that Chris also seems to have received the seal of approval from JoJo’s parents, Jessalynn and Tom, who are not believed to have any qualms with the ten-year age gap. 

‘Her parents are all in for JoJo’s happiness and see Chris as someone very special and are eager to see where it all goes,’ the insider said. 

‘They fully support their daughter’s decision. JoJo has grown up before our eyes, and will jump into things with both feet, so her friends aren’t surprised that she is acting this way with Chris. 

‘No one is talking about the age gap or if they are rushing into things. Everyone just wants to see JoJo happy.’

JoJo, who reunited with Chris in the UK last week, is so happy she may mention her new man in new music.

The insider added: ‘She has been thinking of writing songs about her relationship with Chris.’

In a recent interview with Sunday Brunch, JoJo fought back tears as she shared how her parents ‘think the absolute world of Chris.’

She said: ‘Him and my Dad are like best friends, Chris was actually telling me this yesterday, they went to the spa together yesterday. 

‘They’re literally best friends, Mom Siwa she absolutely adores him. I love watching her watch us, because I’ve never seen my mom so happy, and it’s… it’s… I could cry.

‘Honestly, it makes me happy to have everybody act as… it feels like we’re a family, it feels like he’s been in my family for how ever many years it feels like forever.

‘He gets along as well as I do. I think he loves me because of my parents!’

On Monday, JoJo finally confirmed that she and Chris were in a relationship, following weeks of speculation.

While JoJo has been grilled many times on her relationship status, she had been noticeably coy, simply branding Chris her ‘favourite person in the world.’

But in an interview with Capital Radio, JoJo confirmed that she and Chris have made their relationship official, and she’s started calling him her boyfriend.

Speaking in a video for the channel’s new series Capital Buzz, the dancer admitted that she’s had to explain her viral ‘Dream guest on my podcast’ moment to Chris.

She then added: ‘I’m sure it’s no secret to people, I am in a lovely relationship with a sweet boy named Christopher Hughes.’

In an earlier interview with The Guardian, JoJo gushed about her blossoming romance with Chris.

She said: ‘It’s not platonic any more, and it’s been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I’m absolutely head over heels for him and he’s the same way.’

The Dance Moms star also hit back at speculation that their relationship is a ‘PR stunt,’ saying: ‘Clearly, you’ve never been around us. I won’t ever speak for him, but for me personally, the happiness in my life just radiates off of me right now. 

‘Literally yesterday, I was mᴀssaging my cheeks; I’ve never [before] been in pain from smiling so much.’

On Sunday, Chris sent fans into a frenzy when he shared a steamy bedroom snap with JoJo on Snapchat.

The Dance Moms star had been coy when asked about the exact moment she developed feelings for Chris.

Speaking during a Q&A with fans at Pineapple Dance Studios on Saturday, she said: ‘Loads of different times, loads of different times on different levels. I’m very very happy where we are currently, obviously, I mean I literally smile every single second of every single day now.

During the interview, JoJo reflected on a specific moment when she grew closer to Chris, after he opened up to her about his struggles

‘One of personal biggest frustrations in my life now is that I actually don’t know, I genuinely don’t know, and I’ve spoken to him about it, I’ve spoken to my mom about it, I don’t know the moment that it,’ before snapping her fingers.

She added: ‘It was never like a light switch happened, it was just… you know what I mean? And so I genuinely don’t know! It’s serendipity!’

Last week, JoJo took to Instagram to reflect on her London shows, admitting she has never felt so ‘content and happy,’ and described her first few days in the UK as ‘the perfect time with perfect people in a perfect place’. 

Chris had attended JoJo’s first show in London the previous night, but the star admitted he couldn’t attend Tuesday’s performance.

Instead, she brought along the orange beanie he’d given her while in the house, after she caught Chris singing one of her hits while she was still asleep.

She told the audience: ‘This morning I woke up and all I heard was [sings Nobody Can Change me] he was singing, so I figured today I’d bring a little bit of him while I sing this next song.’As the show came to a close, JoJo wept at the crowd’s reception, telling her fans that after once feeling she was ‘one of the most hated people in the world,’ she felt ‘so special and so loved’.
