Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have broken their silence in their first interview since their feud with Brooklyn’s family imploded. 

David Beckham, 50, and wife Victoria, 51, have become estranged from eldest child Brooklyn, 26, whose heiress wife, 30, has been blamed for the rift in the once тιԍнт-knit family.

Yet in a telling interview with Glamour Germany, the couple opened up about outside interference in their marriage and the advice they’d received from Nicola’s billionaire parents, Nelson and Claudia Peltz.

Brooklyn appeared to make a U-turn when it came to commenting about his father as he shared a new meaning behind the name of his H๏τ sauce, Cloud 23, and deliberately omitted any mention of his family and their feud.

The aspiring chef’s team told last week how the number 23 was a ‘warm nod’ to David, who wore number 23 while playing for Real Madrid and LA Galaxy, inspired by NBA legend Michael Jordan. A touching move that appeared to be an olive branch to his father. 

However, in the new interview, Brooklyn failed to mention his father, simply stating: ‘The 23 stands for our engagement date and my age back then.’

The couple were interviewed for Glamour Germany’s Love edition, with Brooklyn going shirtless in one sH๏τ to show off his many tattoos – of which several are tributes to his wife

And while he went shirtless in one sH๏τ to show off his many tattoos, Brooklyn only referenced the ones he’d made in honour to his wife – ignoring his inked tributes to his family.

He explained he has over 100 tattoos, but when asked which were the most special to him, he listed: ‘I have Nicola’s eyes tattooed on my neck. Our vows, obviously. A Star of David. And one in memory of my grandfather.’

The pair also seemed to hint at interference in their relationship and the ongoing reports of the family feud. 

When asked how they ‘protect’ their relationship in the spotlight, Brooklyn stated: ‘Ignore the noise. Keep your head down, work hard, be kind. People are always going to talk. What matters is that we’re happy together.’ 

Nicola also revealed she had taken her advice from her parents when it comes to relationships. 

She explained: ‘My parents always told me, “Tell us the truth, and we’ll help you.” That mindset has stayed with me. 

‘Whether it’s with friends, family, or in a relationship—honesty builds trust, closeness, growth. Real connection only happens when you’re brave enough to be honest.’

When asked the same question about ‘advice for young couples’, Brooklyn failed to mention his own parents, instead stating:  ‘Always be honest. There’s nothing worse than keeping things from each other.’

The couple were interviewed for Glamour Germany’s Love edition, with the pair draped over one another in a striking pH๏τoshoot. 

Giving their definition of love, Nicola shared: ‘It’s this calm feeling, a sense of safety that takes over your whole body. I’d never felt that before.’

Brooklyn added: ‘You should marry your best friend. Someone who feels like home. For me, that’s Nicola.’

The couple’s interview came after The Mail on Sunday revealed that the feud had grown so bitter that Brooklyn’s brother Cruz has taken to contacting the family’s favourite hangouts ahead of any visits to confirm that he won’t cross paths with his sibling.

He is said to have sent messages to the owners of their haunts specifically asking questions such as, ‘Is Brooklyn there?’, to make sure the coast was clear.

And he even follows that up with a request to ‘let him know’ if his brother later turned up, sources say.

Brooklyn does not even live in London, having set up home in Los Angeles with his wife Nicola, but relations have deteriorated so much that he no longer tells parents David and Victoria when he’s in town.

Earlier this month the couple jetted to the UK for a pH๏τoshoot with Italian luxury fashion brand Moncler.

But while the location was just two miles from the family’s home in west London, they kept the visit secret – even from younger sister, Harper, 13, who used to pose for pictures with Nicola on social media.

The Beckhams are said to have learned of Brooklyn’s visit only when they spotted an Instagram post that Nicola made about the job.

News that Cruz is making moves to avoid inadvertently bumping into his brother are the latest indication of the deep rift within the Beckham family.

Rumours were further fuelled when Cruz appeared to reference the drama in a cryptic post on Instagram last week.

He wrote: ‘It takes 43 muscles in your face to frown, and 17 to smile. Be kind and tell the truth.’

It is unclear what ‘truth’ he is referring to, but many saw it as a veiled reference to Brooklyn. The post was later deleted.

It has been many months since the family spent time together, with the feud becoming public knowledge when Brooklyn failed to attend any of his father’s 50th birthday celebrations a month ago.

While Brooklyn was present at the Victoria’s 50th, both he and his wife failed to make an appearance at her 51st.

And while his younger brothers Romeo and Cruz  took to social media to pay their birthday tributes to their parents, on both occasions Brooklyn stayed silent.

Brooklyn appeared to nail his loyalties to the mast when he posted an image on Instagram of himself and Nicola riding a motorbike, writing: ‘My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person I know xx me and you forever baby.’

As a source told the Mail last week: ‘Brooklyn is now being referred to as “the hostage”.

‘Those who love him fear that he is being controlled by Nicola, and it is heartbreaking.’

Tensions allegedly began in the lead-up to Brooklyn and Nicola’s £3 million wedding in April 2022, with Nicola was said to have declined an offer to wear a dress designed by Victoria Beckham.
