Bruno Tonioli’s seat on the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel could be under threat – as his filming clashes could open the door for YouTube sensation KSI to join full-time.
The Italian dancer, 69, is set to miss BGT filming again this year due to a schedule clash with his US job on Dancing with the Stars.
According to reports, this has left show boss Simon Cowell eyeing up social media giant KSI, who’s stepped in before and boasts a colossal online following of 75 million.
A source told The Sun: ‘There is no doubt that KSI’s social media clout is exactly what the BGT panel needs and Simon loves the edge he brings.
‘TV isn’t getting the viewing figures it did a decade ago, so to have someone who can tell their followers to sit down and watch the box can have a real impact.’

They added: ‘Because of the scheduling issues, insiders are certain that Simon will offer KSI a more long term position in the show.’
KSI, 31, was back on the Britains Got Talent final on Saturday night after previously stepping in for Bruno during auditions earlier this year – and his fans have already been calling for him to land a permanent role.
Simon is said to be seriously considering making it official, with insiders convinced an offer is on the cards.
Bruno however, who replaced David Walliams on the panel in 2023, isn’t fazed.
He quipped last week: ‘We’re both young, attractive, multi-talented stars known the world over.
‘Joking aside, I think KSI is fantastic — a real charming man full of energy. We attended the BRITs together too, which was a fabulous evening.’
MailOnline has contacted Britain’s Got Talent and Bruno Tonioli’s representatives for comment.
Saturday night saw Harry Moulding crowned the winner of Britain’s Got Talent of the 2025 series.

The YouTube sensation, 31, bagged the position on the popular ITV Saturday night TV show earlier this year and his inclusion has certainly been a hit with fans.
But while KSI has been much-loved by younger generations for years, his decision to move into mainstream television has now also earned him the respect of an older age group.
He told The Sun: ‘I have always had mature women sliding into my DMs but I’d say BGT has definitely sky-rocketed the DMs, and them recognising me more.’
