A difficult question on The 1% Club knocked out a whopping 14 players – but can you solve it?
Saturday’s instalment of the ITV quiz show, hosted by Lee Mack, saw 100 contestants attempt to win a huge cash prize.
As always, the programme’s questions were put to the public, with the percentage who got it right determining the difficulty of each round.
Aptly, the final question is one that just 1 per cent of the public answered correctly.
But, during the episode, it was the 30% question that tripped up several players.

It read: ‘Jamil is writing a limerick but needs a word that follows these rules to complete the last line…
‘Two syllables, only two different vowels, starts with an even -numbered letter and contains at least three letters from the second half of the alphabet. Which of these words would work?’

Players had to choose between Doggie, Blades, H๏τel, Prizes and Rabbit.
After 30 seconds, it was revealed 14 contestants got the answer wrong and were wiped out from the game.
The correct answer was Prizes.
During the same instalment, one contestant, Neil, opened up about his career after he was knocked out of the game during the 40% question.
He revealed he was a ‘professional archer’ and had been teaching the sport for ‘about 24 years’.
Lee asked: ‘Do you teach a level, Olympics or something?
Neil explained he taught a range ‘from novice up to famous people’.
He admitted: ‘I’ve taught Brad Pitt’s kids.’
A contestant on The 1% Club left Lee Mack shocked with a swipe at ‘smelly’ Brad Pitt after a surprising run-in with the Hollywood superstar
‘What was he like, Brad Pitt?’ Lee asked.
Neil then went on to make a shocking confession about the American film star and producer.
He revealed: ‘He was very tall, he was a bit smelly at the time, I must admit.’
‘Wow, most people end those anecdotes with, “What a lovely man”,’ Lee quipped. ‘How was he? He was quite tall and smelly to be honest with you.’
It isn’t the first time people have commented on Brad’s smell.
Last year, Canadian actor Jason Priestley recalled how he used live with Brad.
According to Entertainment Weekly, he said on Live With Kelly And Mark: ‘Brad wasn’t as bad as my other roommate, who was an absolute disaster, but Brad was okay.’

He added: ‘We used to play this game, all of us, to see who could go the longest without showering. I think about it now, I’m like “Dude, how disgusting! What were you thinking?”‘
The star revealed Brad would go the longest without showering and often won the contest.
‘I don’t think he does that anymore, but back then, he could go a long time without showering,’ he said.
