The Chase fans took to social media to share their fury over allegedly ‘fixed’ questions while watching Wednesday’s episode of the ITV show.
Michael, Francine, Amy and Jamie took to screens to take on Mark Labbett, AKA The Beast, in a bid to win a cash prize.
Mark joined The Chase in 2009, but before starring in the programme, he had a very different job as a supply PE and mathematics teacher in Wales.
In the latest general knowledge contest, viewers claimed that the questions being asked were very much geared in his favour, leaving contestants with a difficult battle.
Host Bradley Walsh first asked: ‘The International Medial for Outstanding Discoveries in Mathematics is more commonly known as what?’

To which Francine said: ‘He knows this doesn’t he?’
‘Of course he does, he’s a mathematician,’ Bradley replied.
Moments later, he asked a sports related question which said: ‘Which Middle Eastern country played in 2021 Rugby League World Cup?’
And again, Mark knew the answer straight away as Francine confessed: ‘Not a clue.’
Unfortunately, she answered incorrectly and was booted out of the compeтιтion, while Mark got the correct answer – Lebanon.

It comes after Bradley roared ‘what’s the matter with you?!’ when a player on The Chase ‘injured’ him mid-show.
Last week saw Niall, Philip, Amy and Alexia take on Jenny Ryan, known as The Vixen, in an attempt to win some cash.
Niall, from Falkirk, was up first and bagged a respectable £6,000 for the team, but when Bradley went to congratulate him, things took a turn.
The host held out his hand to shake and said, ‘Well played Niall’.
However, when the player shook Bradley’s hand, the TV star exclaimed: ‘Oh you’ve got a strong handshake, that’s unnecessary that!’
Bradley tentatively cupped his hand as the audience laughed and Niall replied: ‘Sorry Bradley.’
‘What’s the matter with you?!’ the host roared back.

‘You’ve hurt me now, it’s unnecessary.’
Niall continued to apologise as he returned to his seat.
Bradley smiled at the camera and joked, ‘Like a pincer movement! Thought he was going to throw me there.’
