They went Instagram official with their relationship last week and now Louis Tomlinson’s sister Lottie has weighed in on her brother’s romance with Zara McDermott.

The Love Island star, 28, and One Direction singer, 33, have been inseparable since their relationship was made public in March, three months after MailOnline revealed Zara and ex-boyfriend Sam Thompson , 32, had parted ways.

And now as the loved up couple enjoy a sun-soaked holiday in Santa Teresa in Costa Rica, Louis’ sister Lottie, 26, has revealed the family have welcomed Zara into the fold. 

Speaking about her brother’s relationship for the first time, Lottie told OK! Magazine: ‘Yeah, she is amazing and they are really happy. I’m really happy for him.’

Lottie, who shares son Lucky, two, and daughter Flossie, five months, with her fiancé Lewis Burton, also hinted Zara might soon by on babysitting duty.

Asked if the couple would be helping out she joked: ‘Hopefully, yeah.’

As well as Lottie, Louis is also an older brother to twins Phoebe and Daisy, 21. His other sister Félicité tragically pᴀssed away at just 18 in 2019 after an accidental drug overdose. 

Zara is believed to have met Louis through his sisters, according to his die-hard fans who questioned the link between Zara and the One Direction hunk’s siblings.

At the time, fans claimed that as well as himself, Louis’s sisters, including make-up artists Lottie, and twins Daisy and Phoebe, followed Zara too.

Another theory is that the girls could be working on an undisclosed documentary with the Love Island star, which is a way Zara could have been been introduced to Louis.

One fan penned: ‘I’ve heard about the link with a documentary as well. Zara has been involved in a recent change in the law as it’s now illegal to threaten to share images without someone’s consent. I can see something like that appealing to Louis, even though it’s revenge porn that is the basis of Zara’s law change.’

Another said: ‘I also heard rumors that she’s part of the rumored series the twins are trying to get going, so fingers crossed it’s more about that.’

‘I think there is a documentary about the Tomlinson’s being produced since the sisters are interested in being England’s version of the Kardashians. Zara has worked on documentaries, maybe she is involved with that’, commented a third user.

A fourth said: ‘I think it’s more of a business thing than anything else (for the twins, they’re well into reality tv and Zara was on love island) so if it is a stunt it’d be quite ridiculous, especially since Louis openly criticises love island.’

With another adding: ‘His sisters have been following her for quite some time. If they are gonna stunt, we will know, because you know, the purpose of a stunt is to be visible and in your face. It is more likely that she is helping the twins with their Kardashians style show which has been in the talks for a while now.’

Meanwhile Zara and Louis looked smitten as they were spotted on a romantic holiday in Costa Rica, where Louis is currently recording music, over the weekend. 

Louis placed a loving hand on Zara’s shoulder as they departed the venue after posing for selfies with fans.

In the clip, Louis is heard saying: ‘I’ve been loving it, I’ve been loving…’

When a fan asks Zara to be in a picture, she responds: ‘You guys get a picture. Don’t worry about me, just get one with him.’

The singer reportedly got his team to organise her first-class travel from London to Costa Rica over the weekend.

According to The Sun, a source said: ‘It meant Zara was unable to attend the TV Baftas but she is keen to spend as much time with Louis as possible.

‘He’s been out in Costa Rica for a few weeks recording his album and is keen to show her the sights.’

During their trip, Zara shared a gorgeous picture of an orange sky on Instagram alongside the caption ‘beautiful’ and location tag of Costa Rica. 

Louis sent fans wild as he shared a gushing comment on his new girlfriend’s social media post. 

Zara shared a stunning picture of herself editing her new documentary series as she explained that she is feeling more ‘confident’ in front of the camera and gushed that she is ‘unbelievably excited’ for fans to watch.

She penned: ‘In the edit for my new series all about Thailand. I’m so unbelievably excited about this one.

‘I can’t believe I’ve been making documentaries for 5 years now… every year that goes by I feel my confidence in front of the camera, in my producing (and in myself!!) growing so much.

Louis quickly took to the comments and wrote: ‘Proud of you x’.

While his younger sister Daisy looked to also approve his new relationship with the influencer as she also penned: ‘Clever and beautiful’.

In the first hour of Louis sharing the sweet comment, nearly six thousand fans liked the message and several others commented saying he was ‘cute’ and happy that he is ‘supportive’.

Meanwhile, Zara’s ex Sam has seemingly moved on with Love Island’s Samie Elishi and the new couple were spotted pᴀssionately kissing outside Olivia Attwood’s birthday party earlier this month.
