This Morning fans all had the same complaint as Davinia Taylor bragged about having the ‘biological age of a 20 year old’ and revealed the truth behind her glowing look.
The actress, 47 – who played Jude Cunningham in Channel 4’s Hollyoaks – appeared on the ITV show alongside Dr. Hussain to chat about biohacking.
Cat and Ben explained that biohacking could be the answer if you are wanting to ‘turn back the clock’.
Ben explained: ‘It’s a wellness trend that involves small changes to boost your energy, improve your health and even reverse aging.’
Guest Davinia recently discovered that her biological age is actually 20 and she explained: ‘It’s a company called Glyen Age and they take a blood test and they measure your inflammatory markers.
‘I mean I am definitely not 20. Look at me, I’m 47! But my inflammation markers are that of someone much younger than me.

‘Inflammation is the driver of most chronic diseases like cancer, Alzheimers, diabetes, heart disease.
‘It’s that inflammatory marker that is pushing you into that red zone.’
Ben asked: ‘So if you can bring your inflammation down, internally, you can change?’
Davinia explained: ‘It’s got to be more resilient. It’s about resilience for me, rather than looking a certain way, it’s about feeling confident that my body is working how it should do or optimizing it actually, with a few little hacks.’
‘It’s a wellness trend that involves small changes.’
Some took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to point out the same thing – that she was talking very fast.
One wrote on the social media platform: ‘Her and Cat in the same room is not a good idea, I’ve had to turn tv down #ThisMorning.’
‘Calm down dear calm down #ThisMorning.’

‘@thismorning she doesn’t shut up! Couldn’t wait for the bloke to breathe before ʙuттing in…’
‘She’s currently in fast and furious mode… #ThisMorning.’
‘#thismorning This woman in white on the sofa seems very hyper and speaks way too fast.’
Davinia also opened up about her past, including her alcoholism in her late 20s.
She said: ‘I’m kind of lucky because I was drinking in my 20s really heavy.
‘Alcoholism got me. So I got sober at the end of my 20s, so I spent my 30s and 40s completely sober so I could then target on other things that were annoying my body, like as soon as I put the wine down, it was always wine. White wine was the one for me.
‘I picked up bread, carbohydrates, because it makes you feel cozy, makes you feel safe, like wine did, you know.
‘I didn’t realise that was causing inflammation as well. It was a carbohydrate addiction. Now I just have carbohydrates at night, like, sourdough or roast dinner.
Davinia said: ‘I mean I am definitely not 20. Look at me, I’m 47! But my inflammation markers are that of someone much younger than me’
‘Because it makes you feel cozy, you get the carb coma and that lulls you into a deep sleep, rather than having toast and croissants in the morning that can give me brain fog and I can’t optimize myself.
‘So I fuel my day on fat, which reduces my calorie intake, and the carbohydrate intake is reserved for when I want to feel cozy with the kids, having a big meal!
‘It’s about timing the food and what fuels source you’ve got in your brain.’
Ben was keen to know what 20-year-old Davinia would say to her now in this day and age.
‘Oh she’s say absolutely bore off,’ Davinia replied.
‘Absolutely boring. Don’t want to hear anything about it.’
Later on in the chat, Cat was keen to know what biohacking is and Dr Hussain explained: ‘Biohacking means something different to different people if I am being honest.
‘I would say it is trying to make changes within your behaviours, lifestyle, in order to optimize your physiology to live better, for longer.
‘We’re not just talking abut the number that you reach in terms of your lifespan, we’re talking about your healthspan.
‘The number of years where you’ve got a quality of life and a health that allows you to do the things you enjoy.’
The start of Wednesday’s episode turned into a car crash just minutes after going live on air.
One of the cameramen dropped his equipment, while Tom Swarbrick, 38, was seen scrolling on his phone at the table.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
