Botox
The question everyone is dying to know the answer to is what Nicole Kidman has really had done to her face?
Over the years, Nicole’s age-reversing appearance has sparked rumours she’s had cosmetic surgery performed on her face.
But the Australian actress, 57, who has continuously denied undergoing any surgery, credits healthy lifestyle choices as they secret behind her тιԍнт, youthful complexion.
‘To be honest, I am completely natural’, she told Marie Claire in 2007.
Aside from shocking fans with her smooth, wrinkle-free appearance, Nicole has pulled off many hairstyles to make her look years younger.
She recently embraced her natural-self as she displayed her natural curly locks – following a disastrous wig fail during the Cannes Film Festival.
But how does she do it? MailOnline reveals the ‘secrets’ behind Nicole’s youthful appearance.

Botox
Despite denying cosmetic surgery rumours, Nicole isn’t shy from experimenting with minor ‘tweakments’ here and there as she previously admitting to getting Botox.
But she soon realised it wasn’t for her and quickly got it dissolved, she told German magazine TV Movie in 2011.
She said: ‘I’ve tried a lot of things, but aside from sports and good nutrition, most things don’t make a difference.
‘I even tried Botox but I didn’t like how my face looked afterwards. Now I don’t use it any more and I can move my forehead again.’
After the star credited a healthy lifestyle as the secret to her looks, she said: ‘I wear sunscreen and I don’t smoke. I take care of myself. I’m very proud to say that.’
In a 2018 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Nicole said she relies on a combination of daily sunscreen, multi-tasking makeup and beauty supplements to maintain her flawless visage.
‘As a fair-skinned girl, I’ve worn sun cream since I was a kid,’ she told the publication when quizzed on why she looks so young.
The Bombshell star also revealed that she is strict about taking her makeup off and double cleansing her face every night.
Stretched ‘bat ears’
It’s no secret that Nicole looks like she hasn’t aged a day since her 30s thanks to her impossibly taut skin and line-free complexion (Nicole is pictured left in March 1996, and right November 2021)
The Australian actress’ earlobes have caused a stir online after catching the attention of fans who have declared they can’t ‘stop staring at them’
Some suggested that the 57-year-old’s eye-catching earlobes – that appear to look ‘stretched’ towards her face – could’ve been the result of plastic surgery
The Australian actress’ earlobes have caused a stir online after catching the attention of fans who have declared they can’t ‘stop staring at them’.
Some suggested that the 57-year-old’s eye-catching earlobes – that appear to look ‘stretched’ towards her face – could’ve been the result of plastic surgery.
According to plastic surgeon Mark Solomos, who appeared on Olivia Attwood’s ITV documentary Price of Perfection, Nicole’s features are ‘pixie’ or ‘bat ears’.
But she’s not the only star to appear to suffer with the issue – Tom Cruise, Katie Price and Demi Moore also might now have ‘bat ears’ due to rumoured cosmetic surgery.
‘The effect occurs when the earlobe is pulled downward, often revealing that a facelift has been performed,’ Mark told FEMAIL, adding how the issue is ‘typically a result of poor surgical technique’.
He also explained how ‘pixie ears’ are on the rise and becoming ‘more commonplace’ as facelifts become increasingly ‘normalised and accessible’.
‘Once seen as invasive and primarily for women in their 50s and older, facelifts are now more openly discussed and accepted. In fact, there is a growing trend of individuals in their 40s opting for facelifts,’ added the expert.
Mark continued: ‘Additionally, as public awareness of cosmetic surgery grows, so does the ability to recognize signs of facelifts, particularly among celebrities.
‘This shift reflects the evolving perception of cosmetic procedures as routine rather than taboo.’
The expert explained what causes ‘pixie ears’, saying: ‘In an ideal facelift, the deeper structures of the face are тιԍнтened, allowing the skin to sit naturally without excessive tension.
‘If this process isn’t done correctly, the earlobe can be displaced, creating the pixie ear effect.
‘To prevent this, surgeons can anchor the ear in its correct position and ensure the procedure focuses on тιԍнтening the inner layers of the face rather than stretching the skin too тιԍнтly.
‘However, when facelifts are performed poorly or with excessive tension, the likelihood of this complication increases.’

The actress appeared on the long-running British talk show and shocked the host in 2024, after he cheekily compared some old publicity pH๏τos of her from the 1980s to her current look.
‘You looked stunning on the cover of Dolly Magazine in 1983,’ Graham quipped, as he jokingly said Nicole looked so different and more mature today.
Nicole was seen cringing at her old modeling pH๏τos as she joked her modern appearance was so different, due to her new hairstyle.
‘I have to say to anyone that has curly hair when you are young, keep it, don’t straighten it. After awhile you don’t get your curls back,’ Nicole warned viewers.
Fans took to social media to note how different she now looks to how she did years ago – and question whether she has had a cosmetic touch up.
Comments read: ‘God, she is full of it! She was a redhead with freckles and now she isn’t… but she doesn’t use Botox!’,
‘With all that Botox, I’m surprised she could move her face,’
‘She can’t smile naturally anymore’.

Hollywood stars often wear wigs and hair extensions to achieve a more youthful appearance as hair thins and loses volume with age.
Weeks prior, Nicole unveiled a cropped, slicked-back cut and wavy fringe hairdo at the Met Gala.
The Babygirl star’s hairdresser Adir Abergel, one of Hollywood’s most sought-after stylists, said on Instagram that the inspiration was ‘a tailored short cut’ – a reference to the theme of the New York event this year, ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’.
Many fans rushed to Mr Abergel’s Instagram to claim the cut is the best hair Nicole ‘has ever had’ – though some argued that, for most women of a similar age, such an edgy style might be hard to pull off.
