Jennifer Lawrence cuts a stylish figure in sheer floral dress as she joins Robert Pattinson at Dior event in Cannes

Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson both looked stylish as ever as they stepped out for Dior at Cannes on Friday.

Robert, 39, wore a pair of white chino trousers, paired with a blue shirt and jacket, smiling subtly for the camera as he posed with his equally famous co-star.

Jennifer, 34, meanwhile, wore a long black and white floral kimono dress that matched the Japanese theme of the Dior backdrop.

She wore her hair in subtle waves, bringing the look together with a pair of tinted glᴀsses and a statement disk necklace.

Dior was hosting a dinner at the festival for the cast of Die My Love, which is being premiered at Cannes on Saturday.

Starring Jennifer and Robert, the film tells the story of a young mother living in a rural area as she undergoes a battle with psychosis.

Die My Love is described as both a horror and a comedy and was directed by Lynne Ramsay, who was also present on the red carpet.

It is notably Jennifer and Robert’s first film together.

They both rose to fame in the 2010s, with Jennifer starring in film adaptations of The Hunger Games series as Katniss Everdeen and Robert Pattinson gaining worldwide fame for his role as Edward Cullen in Twilight.

Die My Love is based on a 2017 novel by Argentine writer, Ariana Harwicz, which details a new mum’s battle with postpartum depression and subsequent psychosis.

The film’s release comes as Jennifer welcomed her second child earlier this year, whose name and gender are not known, with husband Cooke Maroney.

In a 2022 interview with Vogue, the actress opened up about the joy of becoming a first-time mother following the birth of her first child that year, sharing that the birth of her son Cy ‘felt like my whole life had started over.’

‘I just stared. I was just so in love. I also fell in love with all babies everywhere. Newborns are just so amazing,’ she gushed.

Elsewhere in the conversation, she described, ‘I mean the euphoria of Cy is just — Jesus, it’s impossible.

‘My heart has stretched to a capacity that I didn’t know about. I include my husband in that.’

Robert also recently became a parent, welcoming his first child, a baby girl, with his partner, Suki Waterhouse last year.

He told BBC News that the experience has brought more joy and fun into his life.

The actor also admitted that parenthood has opened him up to the world more and helped him become more social.

Also describing himself as less ‘danger prone’, he joked: ‘If someone told me I was going to die in a week, I’d be like, “What? I want to spend some more time with my kid’.’
