Former Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson teased his plans for fatherhood live on Loose Men on Thursday.
Sam, 32, featured on the ITV panel show alongside Princess Diana’s brother Charles Spencer, Dr Amir Khan and Craig Doyle.
The TV personality split from Love Island star Zara McDermott last year and has now started dating Love Island’s Samie Elishi.
During Loose Men, the conversation moved on to the topic of being a father and different parenting styles.
Sam mentioned his upcoming challenge for Soccer Aid and UNICEF and explained: ‘I’m doing five marathons in five days and we’re also cycling on top of the marathon each day as well which is terrifying.’
Craig praised Sam for signing up for the marathon and gushed: ‘When you complete it and one day you become a dad, you’ll tell them about it and they’ll be proud of you.’

The Loose Men star added Sam’s future children would be ‘inspired by you and I think that you’ll be that kind of dad. I think you’ll lead by joy and love’.

‘Hearing all of your stories is just absolutely, I wanna be you guys.’
It isn’t the first time Sam has opened up about his desire to have children, the TV personality previously admitted he ‘does really want kids’ one day.
However, he said back in 2023 he felt like he couldn’t ‘even look after himself’ due to his struggles with ADHD and needed to find a way to deal with it.
He told OK! magazine: ‘A big thing for me was kids, I do want kids and I want to know I can look after a child.
‘I want to know I’m the provider and I’m the carer and that I can be the security that child needs to grow up.
‘I was like, “I don’t feel like I can even look after myself a lot of the time.” The older I was getting, the more I was thinking about that.’

During the same Loose Men episode, Sam opened up about his close relationship with his sister, Louise Thompson.
He revealed he was ‘her neighbour’ and felt ‘incredibly lucky to be in that position’.
Sam admitted: ‘I annoy her everyday and I love it, I climb over that fence every single day.’
‘She is my best friend and I feel sad that it might be norm to at least not try to make a best friend out of a sibling,’ he added.
