Michael McIntyre attends Warner Bros Studio Tour just hours after dismayed comedian watched his Mercedes get TOWED

Michael McIntyre looked in great spirits as he attended the launch of a brand-new feature at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London on Wednesday – just hours after his luxury sports car was towed in Kensington High Street.

The comedian, 49, joined pal Roman Kemp, 32, along with Made In Chelsea stars Tristan Phipps and Julia Pollard, to celebrate the opening of the major new attraction: The Triwizard Tournament – Making of Champions.

The new feature unveils the British filmmaking secrets behind Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire, offering fans a behind-the-scenes look at how the fourth film in the series was brought to life.

To kick off the celebrations, Michael, Roman, and England women’s rugby star Maud Muir, 23, were treated to theatrical Beauxbatons and Durmstrang performances, reenacting their iconic entrances to the Hogwarts Great Hall.

The trio then approached the legendary Goblet of Fire to submit their names, mirroring the brave champions from the film.

For the event, Michael looked dapper in a dark blue suit paired with a pale pink shirt.

The star beamed from ear-to-ear as he posed up a storm in the elegantly decorated Gryffindor common room.

Meanwhile, Roman opted for a more relaxed look, wearing a white ribbed T-shirt and black drawstring trousers as he caught up with his friend.

Comedian Henry Rowley also attended the event and was wowed by the impressive displays at the newly revealed Backlot Stage, where fans can explore special effects techniques – from the creation of the Hungarian Horntail dragon to how filmmakers depicted Harry Potter holding his breath underwater.

Later, Michael and Roman explored the splendour of the Great Hall, where they were welcomed by fan-favourite characters Mad-Eye Moody and wizarding journalist Rita Skeeter, best known for her poison pen articles.

Elsewhere, Maud Muir took a daring walk through the Forbidden Forest, where Hagrid’s dramatic reveal of the first Triwizard Tournament task to Harry Potter has now been recreated.

Open to the public from May 15 to September 8, the immersive new feature grants fans exclusive access to the Backlot Stage for the first time.

The indoor venue includes a digital screen, stage, and tiered seating, offering a deep dive into how the action-packed tournament scenes were brought to life.

The launch coincides with the 20th anniversary of The Goblet of Fire, marked by a month-long celebration.

Earlier this week, Londoners were left spellbound as a ‘captured’ 25-foot-long Hungarian Horntail dragon roamed the capital before returning safely to its rightful home at the Studio Tour.

Weighing 1.3 tonnes, the animatronic creature recreates the nail-biting scene where the dragon breaks free of its chains during the tournament’s first task – and will embark on a UK tour throughout May.

Michael’s appearance at the event comes hours after he was pH๏τographed speaking to an official as his high-end £195,000 sports car was hoisted onto the back of a lorry with its wheels clamped.

The comedian looked unimpressed as he had an animated discussion with an official, who wore a yellow hi-vis jacket as builders watched on.

The funnyman looked dapper in a navy suit and pink shirt while he sported his signature square glᴀsses for his unfortunate outing into the city.

Michael’s vehicle, a Mercedes-AMG GT R, had been hoisted onto the back of a tow truck as it was moved from the street.

The TV star’s vehicle was towed after it was parked in a parking bay reserved for police vehicles.

MailOnline has contacted Michael’s representatives for comment.
