The daughter of a Britpop star was seen going for a stroll with a male pal in Notting Hill, London on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old cut a casual figure for the outing as she donned a black long-sleeved top along with a pink patterned mini skirt.

She added to her look with a pair of eye-catching black leather boots along with white and black striped socks.

Letting her dyed red locks fall loose down her shoulders, she completed her outfit with a whistle necklace.

Her father is a member of one of the best known bands from the Britpop era and has sold over 70 million records.

It’s Blur frontman Damon Albarn’s daughter Missy.   

Missy previously studied fashion design at university and even set up her own online shop – House of Saltman – selling her quirky designs, although it appears to have since closed.

Missy is Damon’s only child who he shares with former partner Suzi Winstanley. She was born in October 1999, with her parents naming her after rapper Missy Elliott.   

Back in 2022, Missy banned Damon from creating a personal Instagram account.

The singer told The Changes podcast with Annie Macmanus: ‘I got as far as giving myself a name and I heard this scream downstairs, and then some running upstairs.

‘She ran into the room and got my phone and threw it away before I could. It is funny.’

Damon and Suzi are reported to have parted ways in 2023 after 25 years together.

Friends say that Suzi, an artist, was ‘absolutely devastated’ at the relationship ending.

The Mail On Sunday understood that she told Britpop star Damon to leave their Notting Hill home, although the circumstances behind her decision are unknown.

‘Suzi is heartbroken at their relationship ending,’ said a source close to Suzi.

‘Even though they have been living in the showbiz bubble where so many couples struggle, they had been together for a very long time.

‘It is a really sad time for everyone involved.’

During lockdown, Damon spent a lot of time in South Devon where he owns a farmhouse which he has partly converted into a music studio. 

Back in 2022, Missy banned Damon from creating a personal Instagram account

He spoke about how he had been struggling in his personal life, telling French magazine Paris Match: ‘The last few months, the last year has not been easy.

‘But the music allows me to “bring out” all that. That is to say, it’s the only way I know to overcome this sort of event. And it’s cheaper than therapy.’ 

It’s understood that Damon wrote much of the most recent Blur album, The Ballad Of Darren, released earlier this year before reaching No 1 in the charts, about his relationship with Suzi.

In a song called The Ballad, the lyrics say: ‘I just looked into my life/And all I saw was that you’re not coming back.’
