Liam Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cᴀssidy has made a candid admission about her mental health after sharing a TikTok video to her 1.5 million followers.

The influencer, 26, told fans she needed a ‘mental reset day’ just days after it was revealed she could receive nothing from the late One Direction star’s inheritance. 

Liam, who had been dating Kate for two years when he died in October, had been with her in Argentina until two days before he fell 45ft to his death from a H๏τel balcony at the age of 31. 

Kate took to her social media on Saturday to share her struggles grieving over Liam’s death, revealing she could barely get out of bed.

Lying makeup-free in a yellow hoodie, Kate opened up to fans while sitting on her bed, saying: ‘I’ve been laying in bed for the past hour. 

‘It’s one of those mornings where it’s hard for me to get out of bed and start my day.’

Liam and Kate, 36,  dated for two years when he died in October, and she had been with him Argentina until two days before he fell 45ft to his death from a H๏τel balcony at the age of 31

She added: ‘So I’ve decided I’m going to take a mental reset day and bring you guys along.’

Kate – who lived with Liam in Florida for two years prior to his shock death last October – filmed herself putting on makeup and getting dressed in a lilac vest and joggers.

She then took her dog for a walk, met a friend for lunch and tucked into a salmon salad before attending a therapy session and enjoyed some pampering.

Kate’s video sparked a flurry of messages from her followers, with many supporting her for speaking out and showing her struggle.

They wrote: ‘I am always thinking of you Kate, Liam’s memory will live on through the beautiful love you both shared. Sending you all the strength & love your way. We love you so much!’

Kate’s emotional day came just days after it was revealed Liam, 31, died without leaving a will – meaning UK intestacy laws will determine where his money goes.

That means his ex Cheryl Tweedy, 41, was appointed to take control of his estate alongside music industry lawyer Richard Bray.

Court papers confirmed Cheryl is now responsible for Liam’s property, money and possessions – a huge task the star is said to be quietly managing behind the scenes.

Liam and Cheryl dated for two years and share an eight-year-old son, Bear, who is expected to inherit his dad’s fortune via a trust.

It’s believed Kate will not receive any money from the estate due to inheritance rules that prioritise children and spouses.

A source close to Kate says she understands the situation, telling MailOnline: ‘It was never about the money for her.

‘She loved Liam through thick and thin and she wouldn’t have it any other way than Bear being the main beneficiary from his father’s will.’

Liam died on October 16 after falling from a third-floor balcony at the Casa Sur H๏τel in Buenos Aires.

His cause of death was confirmed as ‘internal and external haemorrhage’ and multiple traumatic injuries. Toxicology tests also revealed traces of cocaine, alcohol, and a prescription antidepressant in his system.

Kate revealed she is doing online therapy and admitted she always feels good after a session. She later went onto journal and told her followers she ‘brain dumps’ where she writes down anything that troubles her or anything she overthinks

Five people were initially charged in connection with Liam’s death, including the H๏τel manager, receptionist, and one of his friends.

However, charges against three of the suspects were later dropped, while two H๏τel workers are still facing accusations of supplying drugs to the star on the night he died.

Kate’s video comes after she revealed another ‘sign’ she believes the late star has sent her.

Since Liam’s tragic death, Kate has been documenting her grief journey on social media and has previously shared a series of ‘signs’ she believes Liam has sent her.

At the beginning of May, Kate shared an emotional post detailing the latest message she believes Liam has sent her.

She posted a pH๏τograph of a rainbow to her account and told how it was the One Direction star saying ‘hello’ to her.

One fan shared their theory that Liam was sending her a message, writing in the comments: ‘Liam showing up through the rainbow’ to which Kate replied: ‘He had to say hello.’

The small note showed a drawing of a crown with the numbers ‘444’ written inside. 

She penned: ‘Sign for today. [I] was cleaning out my purses and found this note at the bottom of one.’

Kate previously revealed that hers and Liam’s angel number is 444 – meaning when she sees the number it serves as a sign of ‘protection, encouragement and support’.

After his death, she referenced the angel numbers as she revealed they had been planning to marry in the weeks leading up to his pᴀssing.

She wrote: ‘A few weeks ago, we sat outside on a beautiful evening manifesting our lives together. 

‘I keep your note close, even though you told me not to look at it. It said, ‘Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged and together forever 444.’

Angel numbers are repeating sequences of digits, normally in sets of three or four, and they are believed to hold spiritual guidance.

In numerology, 444 is a sign that the ‘angels are with you’ and are ‘there to guide you step by step’.

She filmed a video of herself looking through her possessions from around the time of Liam’s death.

In one of her TikTok videos, she also visited Ritual Rooftop Restaurant & Lounge in Charleston, South Carolina where she met Liam for the first time.

Kate explained: ‘I am currently in Charleston, North Carolina and for those who may not know this is the city that I used to live in and the city that I met Liam in.

‘I am at the restaurant that I met Liam at when I was a server and this is my first time back here.

‘I told myself I’m going to let this be a beautiful moment that brings me peace rather than sadness. I feel like that is what Liam would want me to do.’

Walking over to the booth where he was sitting when they met, Kate showed that her friends had decorated the table.

She continued: ‘My friends thought it would be a good idea to get some McDonald’s which was Liam’s favourite food. 

‘This pH๏τo is Liam sitting right here in this booth wearing Ritual merch.’

Kate also revealed in a Q&A that the tattoo which has the most meaning to her was ‘my wings,’ which she is believed to have gotten in tribute to Liam 

Earlier in the day, Kate shared a snap of a note which she believes the late singer sent her as a message from above

Angels have been symbolic for Kate since Liam’s pᴀssing, particularly the number 444, which she has since got tattooed on her hand (both pictured in December 2022)

Kate and her friends then headed out onto the rooftop to continue to honour Liam’s memory.

‘We used to love this thing called flying wish paper and you write a wish on it, then light it up and it’s supposed to make your wishes come true. So we are going to do this today,’ she said while lighting the paper.
