Hannah Cooper-Dommett joked she was left rolling her eyes after her husband Joel collapsed during the London marathon earlier this month.
The comedian, 39, was aiming for a sub three hour time, however his race took a scary turn after he fainted at mile 17 and later took to Instagram as he joked he was ‘the first person in the ambulance’.
Supported by his wife Hannah and their son Wilde, 19 months, the model teased that these things ‘are never straightforward’ with Joel and she wasn’t surprised the unexpected happened, although he still sent her stress levels soaring.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline ahead of the release of her new jewellery collection with Posh Totty Designs, Hannah explained: ‘Well, I kind of rolled my eyes at it a little bit, because there’s always a story with Joel. It’s never straightforward.’
‘There’s always some element of he’s either running late or something’s gone wrong. So I kind of almost expected that something would happen unfortunately. I didn’t want that to happen and it was super scary.’
Admitting her stress levels were at an all time high she added: ‘I wear one of those you know aura rings, and it was through the roof with stress. I was like: “Look! It does prove that I care”.’

Following the race Joel took to Instagram as he shared a video taken by a fan of him struggling and compared it to what he ‘thought he would look like’.
Hannah added: ‘Yeah, obviously, any incident like that is quite sort of stressful. But we joked about it by six o’clock that evening. But it was sort of this fine line of “Can I crack the first joke? Or?”‘
Hannah also joked that Joel was enjoying milking the attention as she teased: ‘He was thanking people the other day on the radio, going like, “Thanks to everyone that came out to watch.” and I’m like “Joel they came to the marathon. They didn’t come out to watch you”.’
Despite the scare he was able to finish the 26.2 mile race after being forced to wait a few hours under medical supervision for his pulse to return to normal.
Hannah also admitted that the pair have a compeтιтive rivalry between them as she confessed: ‘We are definitely compeтιтive. I wouldn’t say jealous, but I would say in all areas of our life we’re just like, “Well, I’m doing this.” “Okay, well, I’m doing that”.
‘It definitely comes across in our podcast where we’re both quietly confident that we think that we’re better than each other.
‘But I think it’s healthy because you need that compeтιтiveness to like keep you going and keep the relationship alive.’
Hannah, who began her career as a model after being signed aged 16, is now preparing to bring out her first jewellery collection with Posh Totty Designs.

Speaking about the collaboration she explained: ‘Yeah, it’s really exciting. I met Alice, the founder when I was heavily pregnant with Wilde and we ended up just chatting, and she told me about her jewellery brand, and I was just like, “Oh, my God! That’s so exciting like how amazing that you can do that.”

Naming the collection after her son Wilde she joked: ‘I’ll have to wear a cowboy hat for the rest of my life. Now we’re going to have Western themed parties until he will allow me to not do this anymore.’
Meanwhile Posh Totty Designed Founder and Creative Director Alice Rivers-Cripps also spoke about working with Hannah as she gushed: ‘From the moment I met Hannah (pregnant with little Wilde at the time!) at a party, we clicked.
‘Together, we’ve created a collection full of charm, meaning, and a little Wild West flair — lucky horseshoes, buckle-inspired designs and symbolic charms.
‘At the heart of it all is our guiding star — a little reminder to follow your own path, pᴀssion, and that spark of magic that’s uniquely yours.’
The full collection will be available from May 16 at Posh Totty Designs’ boutique stores in London and Brighton, online, and at select pop-up locations.
