Stacey Solomon was seen smoking by the side of the road and looking emotional as she left the vets with her dog Teddy on Wednesday. 

The TV presenter, 35, revealed last month the heartbreaking news that she could lose her beloved dog Teddy, a cocker spaniel, in the coming weeks but she later took to social media to reveal he was doing much better now, much to the relief of her followers. 

Stacey had said Teddy fell unwell as a result of a predisposed condition the family were not aware of and explained that the next few weeks were crucial for the pooch, and even if the rescue dog survives, ‘he may not fully recover.’

The wholesome TV star, who is rarely seen smoking, was seen looking downcast as she headed back to her car with her beloved dog on a lead.

There was a visible ‘no smoking’ sign on the wall of the vets, so Stacey walked over to the kerbside to smoke.

The TV presenter, 35, had previously said she was fearful of losing Teddy in the coming weeks 

And after finishing the consultation with the specialist, the star took a moment to debrief while sat on a curb next to her car.

Appearing deep in thought, she lit up a cigarette and spent time on her phone before gathering her thoughts and driving back home.

Following the vet visit, Stacey took to her Instagram Stories to give her fans an update on how her beloved pet is doing.

Sharing an adorable snap of Teddy, she penned: ‘We went for a check up at the vest this morning.

‘He’s doing well. Still no feeling in his toes but he is happy and healthy otherwise which is all we can hope for. 

‘Not going to lie when the vet said I was doing a great job I may have cried. It’s been a crazy two weeks an a half.’

Elsewhere, Stacey took to Instagram late on Wednesday to share an emotional message with her fans after the final episode of her reality show with husband Joe Swash aired.

Stacey was then seen leaving the building after an hour alongside a vet 

The star listened to the vet as they walked towards her parked car

Stacey placed Teddy into the car as she continued to listen to what the vet had to say

She appeared tearful while petting her dog before going and sitting on the curb next to her car

Appearing deep in thought, she lit up a cigarette and spent time on her phone

She then got back into her car and drove back home

Following the vet visit, Stacey took to her Instagram Stories to give her fans an update on how her beloved pet is doing

The former X Factor star sat down ready to watch the final episode of Stacey & Joe: Full House, as she took to her socials to thank fans for their support.

Speaking to her followers, Stacey said: ‘I’m just sitting down, the girls have gone to bed and I’m getting ready to watch our show. 

‘I’ve just realised it’s the last episode tonight it’s gone so quickly I feel like it was only yesterday we were pooing ourselves about it coming out on the telly and now it’s at the end.

‘I’ve enjoyed watching it back and then hearing from you and getting your feedback and stuff so I just wanted to say thank you, thanks for watching it.’

The show follows the couple juggling their careers with raising their children Rex, five, Rose, three, and Belle, two, and Stacey’s sons Zachary, 17, and Leighton, 12, from previous relationships.

And Stacey and Joe – who tied the knot in 2022 – have been insistent on showing both the ups and the downs, explaining that they weren’t ‘trying to portray a glamorous lifestyle’.

However, according to The Sun, the TV presenter is having some serious regrets about being so open, following some negative reactions from viewers.

A source said: ‘Stacey is regretting signing up to do the show. She’s not used to the backlash they are getting as everything she touches normally turns to gold.’

It was alleged that Stacey is concerned about how she and Joe are coming across in their arguments, with Joe’s lack of time management and ADHD struggles clashing with Stacey’s love of extreme organisation.

A friend told the publication: ‘She feels like she is coming across as bossy. He can’t manage anything without her, so she is forced to be the ‘grown up’. It’s caused friction.’

One episode sees Stacey devastated by Joe not showing up at an important meeting, leaving her juggling caring for the babies while trying to plan the launch of her own perfume.

Despite begging him not to let her down beforehand, the EastEnders star is five hours late after going fishing with his friends.

Speaking to OK! ahead of their show, Stacey and Joe revealed viewers will get to witness them arguing on camera, explaining it was important to them not to cut out rows like other couples would be tempted to.

Joe said: ‘So many people represent their lives as being so perfect on Instagram. It’s our responsibility to show the real – the highs and the lows. It’s not all a bed of roses. Sometimes we argue.’

While Stacey added: ‘What you see is what you get. What we’ve learnt about each other is that we’re not a perfect couple. We’ve never said we’re a perfect couple, but you get to watch yourself back, which is something that doesn’t happen often.’

The pair also explained how watching their ‘bickering’ back helps them learn about their faults and where the other is coming from, with them saying it’ been more effective that couples’ therapy.
