Adam Rickitt paid tribute to his wife Katy on her birthday with a slew of heart-warming snaps posted to his Instagram on Wednesday.

The former Coronation Street actor, 46, shared some pH๏τos of his partner with his legion of social media fans, including one which saw her taking a fun selfie.

Katy, an ITV presenter, pouted for the camera while sitting on a sun lounger on the beach in the cute holiday pic.

She wore a white swim costume with brown clasps and added a white and pink alice band for the trip, accessorising with some pink-rimmed sunglᴀsses. 

Another wholesome pH๏τo saw the pair, who got married in 2014, embracing with Adam sporting a mid grey jacket and white shirt, showing off his dazzling blond hairdo.

His wife, meanwhile, donned a white short-sleeved top, teaming the item with some white trousers and a white handbag, adding a thin silver-strapped watch, and displaying her matching blonde pixie cut.

The couple looked as loved up as ever in one selfie taken by Katy inside a car, with the journalist wearing a black t-shirt and peach-rimmed sunglᴀsses and flashing a mᴀssive smile.

Adam also looked delighted to be there and offered a wave to the camera while donning a light grey t-shirt. 

Katy sipped away on a cold drink in a further snap, cutting a laidback figure in an olive Adidas hoodie, teaming it with black and white tracksuit bottoms and a white handbag with a gold chain, completing the look with multi-coloured nail polish.

The birthday girl also donned a baggy hooded light grey dress with H๏τ pink and black animal print in a fun picture and, in a final pH๏τo, could be seen getting a tattoo while wearing a black t-shirt and fire orange trousers.

Her husband offered an emotional message to her in a sweet caption, writing: ‘Another year my beautiful @katyrickitt …and i don’t think i could be any more in awe of you. You shine every day and still take my breath away without even knowing.

‘You’re more than my partner, you’re my everything, and to see how much you’ve grown in these last 12 months gives this old dog inspiration to learn new tricks too.

‘You make every person you meet smile…and you make me so grateful for that 1st day. So many adventures ahead..and sharing them with you is what gives meaning.

The sweet birthday post comes after Adam gushed over his wife as he took to Instagram in January to declare his love for her as she ‘hits the menopause’ in an oversharing post.

The actor implied that Katy’s body had changed for the better as she begins the menopause as he shared a series of very busty snaps of the correspondent.

Beaming in the pH๏τos Katy showcased her ample cleavage in a тιԍнт-fitted zip up denim dress.

Explaining that she was having a clear out and throwing away clothes from when she was 18, Adam teased at his disappointment that this dress was for the charity shop. 

Joking that he was married to a ‘MILF without the kid bit’ he penned: ‘When your Mrs starts hitting menopause and her body changes…

‘She has a clear out of clothes she could wear since 18…but for some reason thinks this dress is going!

‘Not a chance! She’s more beautiful than ever…and if anything she (and THEY!!) are only just hitting their stride…officially i am married to a #MILF (just without the kid bit!)’

In December the couple celebrated their 10 year wedding anniversary as Adam took to Instagram with a gushing tribute to mark the special day

He added: ‘Love you @katyrickitt you Sєxy beast!’

Adam and Katy first met when she interviewed the star in 2011 and what was supposed to be a 30-minute chat at an animal rescue centre turned into a five and a half hour interview as they got on so well.

In December, the couple celebrated their 10 year wedding anniversary as Adam took to Instagram with a gushing tribute to mark the special day. 

He wrote: ’10 years ago this one walked down the aisle and said “I Do”.

‘It was a beautiful day…but it wasn’t the best. The best has been every day since I first met you @katyrickitt and i know tomorrow will be even better.

‘Thank you for being the love of my life and doing me the greatest honour of letting me walk this path beside you. I love you bean’.
