Blake Lively has fans in an uproar after her latest film features a jaw-dropping incest twist — where she ends up kissing herself on screen.

The 37-year-old star, already under public scrutiny thanks to her messy legal battle with Justin Baldoni — which includes a mᴀssive lawsuit against her and husband Ryan Reynolds — fueled even more buzz with the bonkers plotline in Another Simple Favor.

Lively, who recently confessed she’s faced some of the ‘lowest of lows of her life’ this year, plays Emily, one of three secret triplets in the movie. In a wild scene, Emily shares a pᴀssionate kiss with her sister Charity — also played by Lively.

It doesn’t stop there. Charity later drugs Emily, lays her limp body on the bed, arranges Emily’s arms around her in an embrace, and plants another kiss.

Another stunned viewer wrote, ‘Ummmmm what? Blake Lively is having a SєxUAL relationship with her sister in Another Simple Favor? Yes, INCEST. The acting and script is said to be worst than a Lifetime movie.’

One fan even dragged Reynolds into the mess, saying, ‘It sounds exactly up her and Ryan Reynolds alley. They are nasty like that but think it’s funny. Just like in ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool with the incest line between Ryan Reynolds and his daughter.’

The shock comes just months after White Lotus stirred controversy with its own incest storyline — and viewers noticed.

And one unimpressed viewer declared, ‘Blake makes out with her twin sister. Then apparently there’s a secret triplet, just ridiculous. I won’t watch anything Blake or Ryan are in from now on.’

Of course, incest isn’t a new shock tactic in this franchise. The original 2018 A Simple Favor saw Anna Kendrick’s character Stephanie sleep with her half-brother — leading to Blake Lively’s now-iconic line: ‘Brotherf–ker!’

Naturally, Another Simple Favor had to up the ante.

Directed by Paul Feig, the sequel picks up seven years later with Emily (Lively) fresh out of prison and planning a lavish wedding in Capri. She ropes Stephanie (Kendrick) into being her maid of honor — partly by threat, partly for fun.

But things turn ᴅᴇᴀᴅly when Emily’s ex (Henry Golding) and fiancé (Michele Morrone) wind up murdered, pushing Stephanie back into sleuth mode. 

She uncovers Emily’s supposedly ᴅᴇᴀᴅ triplet, Charity — also played by Lively — who was secretly raised in isolation and is now dangerously unhinged.

Adding insult to injury, Blake has been trailed by a persistent stream of gossip that she and Anna Kendrick don’t get along behind the scenes. 

But Blake brushed off the chatter, posting a playful promo clip of her and Anna doing ASMR.

Her latest post comes on the heels of her Thursday appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers — Blake’s first talk show since her legal battle with Justin Baldoni ignited last December.

When Meyers tiptoed around the topic of her clash with Baldoni — whom she’s accused of Sєxual harᴀssment — he said, ‘I imagine you’re in a situation where you can’t say anything.’

Blake replied, ‘What I can say without going too into it is that this year has been the highest of highs and the lowest of lows in my life, and I see so many women around afraid to speak, especially right now, afraid to share their experiences, and fear is by design.’

‘It’s what keeps us silent. But I also acknowledge that many people don’t have the opportunity to speak.’

‘So I do feel fortunate that I’ve been able to and as a woman, you have the ability to use your voice — that’s kept me strong and helped me in my belief and my fight for the world to be safer for women and girls. It’s a pretty simple thing.’

She and Baldoni are set to head to court in March 2026.
