Britain’s Got Talent magician Alexandra Burgio has said she would tape up King Charles if she were to win the compeтιтion.

The Canadian illusionist entered Saturday’s perforamnce with her mouth taped, before doing the same to judge Simon Cowell. 

Later in the intense performance, the magician made the words miraculously appear on the inside of the gags to wild applause from the audience. 

And it appears the performer would be happy to attempt a similar stunt on King Charles himself if she were to make it to the Royal Variety show, according to The Sun. 

She told the publication: ‘I would love to show my act to the King. However, I wouldn’t dream of taping up His Majesty — unless, of course, that was his dream.’

Elsewhere in the interview, she also clarified that her Sєxy performances are not just for male entertainment and is for anyone confident enough.

She also clarified that people misjudge that older people would be more reserved over the act but this is not true. 

The stunner received a whopping four yeses from Simon, 65, Amanda Holden, 54,  Bruno Tonioli, 69, and Alesha Dixon, 46, sailing through to the next round.

But this is not Alexandra’s first time in front of a Got Talent judging panel, after having already made a name for herself on TV.

The magician previously appeared on her native Canada’s version of the show and made it all the through to the semi-finals in 2024. 

She also competed on fellow iIllusionists Penn and Teller’s US show Penn & Teller: Fool Us in 2023.

In 2022 it was claimed that one in four Britain’s Got Talent acts are ‘recycled’ from other shows or have links to Simon and other show talent.

Of the 60 acts that have been shown on television that year, 15 have either appeared on another series from the Got Talent franchise, are linked to head judge Simon or someone else linked to the shows, or are already ‘professional’, according to The Sun.  

The likes of American singer Loren Allred is the voice of the hit song Never Enough from the 2017 film The Greatest Showman, while soul singer Mel Day achieved chart success as the lead vocalist of J.A.L.N. Band in the US and UK with 1976 track Disco Music (I Like It).

Elsewhere in Saturday’s show one act left a judge speechless when their shocking family connection was revealed.

The judging panel and audience were unable to look away when a mysterious hooded figure named The Tormentor took to the stage to audition.

The creepy figure, who spoke with a deep altered voice, wore a long dark hooded ensemble and a shiny gold mask, hiding their idenтιтy.

They explained their act was going to make one person ‘face their fears’ and quickly got judge KSI up into a chair on the stage.

The 31-year-old YouTuber and boxer was blindfolded and taunted by the figure, as he shocked KSI by revealing details about him that no one would know.

The eerie act told the audience that the judge had a crush on a girl called Rhiannon at school and recalled how he ‘cried for days’ when he realised she didn’t like him back.

The mysterious person then went on to make KSI listen to his own music as a hilarious form of punishment, before bringing out a box of bugs, which are his greatest fear.

KSI was left screaming and begging the act not to bring them near him as he proceeded to tickle him – but the real shock came when The Tormentor revealed their idenтιтy.

The last part of the performance saw them whip off their mask and reveal it was actually KSI’s younger brother Deji, 28, leaving the judge lost for words.

He ran over to press his red buzzer and told his brother to ‘get out,’ while the other judges found the ordeal hilarious.

Speaking to The Mirror after the audition, KSI said: ”I was blind to it all.  ‘When I got pulled up on stage, I just thought, ‘Here we go. How is he going to torment me?’

‘He gets me up on stage and he mentions a girl I was involved with years ago, no one really knows about her, only a specific few people do.’

He added: ‘This guy is gonna just say things that no one should know. I was tripping balls! I couldn’t believe it. And then he gets bugs out, that’s a genuine fear of mine.’ 

Viewers rushed to X to react to the moment, writing: ‘Deji pranking KSI on #BGT fully had me crying with laughter.’
