Love Island’s Lochan Nowacki appeared to take thinly-veiled swipe at his ex-girlfriend Whitney Adebayo on Friday. 

The couple announced last week that they had gone their separate ways, with Whitney, 27, hinting that it was Lochan’s decision by writing ‘I’m broken’. 

Now, Lochan has shared a cryptic post to social media, which included a smouldering snap and quote.

In what appeared to be a swipe at his ex, the caption read: ‘Cheeky tb and friendly reminder surround yourself with positive vibrations always.’

An accompanying quote read: ‘In your own life, you could set yourself the expectation that you’re a good parent or you’re a high performer at work, and so surrounding yourself with these vibrations cause you to live your life t that level.

‘It’s Law of Attraction 101.’

It comes just days after Whitney broke her silence after announcing she had split from her co-star and boyfriend of two years.

She claimed in a TikTok video that Lochan had ‘stopped choosing her’ and walked away from the relationship.

The video was part of an online series called Becoming Her, where Whitney speaks in diary entry-style videos about her thoughts and feelings.

Episode four of the series addressed her break-up with Lochan and dismissed any claims of infidelity and revealed it was a case of ‘right person, wrong time’.

Whitney has spoken about the split since, telling her followers she feels ‘heartbroken’ as she navigates life as a single woman.

Discussing her choice to start the diary-style series, Whitney said: ‘Get ready with me while I tell you why I started my Becoming Her series.

‘I’ve always loved quotes, reading, poems, all that kind of jazz. I know I’m a TV personality and I was also an A student and I have a Bachelor of Science degree.

‘I don’t know about you guys, but are you not tired of consuming meaningless content on social media. Because I am.

They narrowly missed out on winning to Jess Harding and Sammy Root in the 2023 series and  viewers were stunned that they had missed out on the £50,000 prize at the time

The Love Island runners-up took to their respective Instagram Stories to reveal that they have called time on their romance (Lochan’s post is pictured)
