EastEnders fans said ‘I knew she looked familiar’ after a lead star’s lookalike sister made an unlikely cameo in a nightclub scene.
The unexpected moment came during an episode of the BBC soap earlier this week, which saw Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) out and about with his friend and garage colleague Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho).
The pair were out to celebrate Harry’s mum Nicola Mitchell’s (Laura Doddington) birthday when they spotted a group of women by the bar – with Harry taking it as an opportunity to teach lovably awkward Kojo how to chat them up.
One of the women was the sister of actress Lacey Turner, 37, who has played Stacey Slater since 2004 – and the pair look uncannily similar.
Lily Ruby Turner, 22, also known as Lily Harvey, is an actress and singer, with more than 17,000 followers on TikTok, where she posts clips of her performance skills.
She used to be in the soap herself too, from 2011 to 2012 – and fans took to social media to say how shocked and delighted they were to see her back on their screens.

Lily previously played a young Shenice Quinn, the daughter of Martina Quinn (Tamara Wall), whose friend Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace), along with husband Alfie Moon (Shane Richie), briefly looks after her amid chaos in Martina’s life.
During the scene from earlier this week, Harry approaches one of the women in the group Lily is an extra in.
But he does not get very far, as he is interrupted by a woman he had a one-night stand with, who he ghosted.
Of more concern to the fans though was the shock reappearance of Lily as a character in Walford.
One fan said, according to the Sun: ‘I knew she looked familiar.’
Another asked, ‘She played Shenice, didn’t she?’, while someone else confirmed, ‘She was in it years ago as a little girl, Kat and Alfie cared for [her]’.
Viewers were floored by how similar the actress looked to her older sister: ‘She looks like 2010 Stacey omg.’
Another person said: ‘Omg she’s Lacey reincarnated.’

Having played the character of Stacey on the soap since 2004, apart from a short four-year break from 2010 to 2014, Lacey has been a much-beloved fixture on the soap for almost 20 years.
She has had a wide range of emotional storylines, including her struggles with bipolar disorder, her murder of Archie Mitchell and an affair with her father-in-law.
Her younger sister’s return to the soap comes just as EastEnders fans realised another star of the show also has a notable relative.
Actress Sophie Khan Levy, 35, joined the BBC show as Priya Nandra-Hart in October 2023 and has become a huge fan favourite.
But many do not know that her mum Shaneen Khan, 65, is also in the acting industry – and is best known for playing Mrs Bhamra in 2002 movie Bend It Like Beckham.
That is also not the only time she has been on screen – Shaneen has also landed roles in various other TV shows and films.
Some include Kiran Joghill in Casualty, Grace in Grange Hill, PC Penny in Holby City, Jamila Khan in The Bill and Mrs Palmer in The Five.
More recently she’s appeared in ITV drama Maternal, drama Mogul Mowgli, Unforgotten, Doctor Who and Apple Tree House.
