Walton Goggins’ dramatic dental makeover is under renewed scrutiny — and this time, it’s tangled up in the fallout from a rumored behind-the-scenes feud with his White Lotus co-star Aimee Lou Wood.

The actors, who played a couple on the HBO Max hit, have sparked speculation of bad blood after fans noticed they no longer follow each other on Instagram. 

The drama intensified after Wood was left in tears over a ‘cruel and unfunny’ Saturday Night Live sketch that mocked her smile with exaggerated prosthetic teeth — and Goggins was caught liking the clip online.

Reacting to the video shared on SNL’s social media, Goggins commented, ‘Hahahahahhahaha Amazzzingggg,’ though it remains unclear if he was referring to the entire sketch or the part targeting Wood.

Now, fans are flipping the spotlight back on Goggins — resurfacing old red carpet pH๏τos, early role screensH๏τs, and a 2016 interview where the actor opened up about his changing smile.

In the interview, Goggins detailed his dental woes, revealing a childhood accident that knocked out his two front teeth.

‘I showed up late to baseball practice in 5th grade, and I had to take a lap and I was running to centerfield and all I heard was ‘Walton,”‘ he recalled on Conan.

‘And I turn around and I caught a baseball right in my mouth and literally my two front teeth were on the ground next to me.’

‘They healed and the roots connected,” he added. ‘And everything was fine until a year and a half later, I dove off into the shallow end of a pool and hit the bottom and knocked them out again.”

Now, some fans are questioning why Wood was mocked for her natural smile, while Goggins’ evolving grin has flown largely under the radar — until now.

On The Nerve with Maureen Callahan, host Maureen Callahan claimed Goggins had ‘fake teeth but not good fake teeth’ when he joined the second season of Justified back in May 2010.

‘They look a lot better, they’re not perfect, but they look a lot more like they fit his face,’ she added.

Callahan went on to say it’s clear he’s upgraded his smile now that he’s starring on one of the biggest TV shows ever.

Goggins’ teeth are back in the spotlight just as SNL announced he’ll be hosting an upcoming episode — even as controversy swirls around the show’s mocking sketch that left Wood in tears.

Fans questioned the timing as Goggins is rumored to be feuding with Wood, 31, after the pair portrayed couple Rick and Chelsea on season three of the hit show

In the skit, тιтled The White POTUS, SNL reimagined the Trump family and various political figures on a White Lotus-style vacation. 

Goggins’ character Rick was portrayed as Robert F. Kennedy Jr., shown rambling about how they should ‘take all the fluoride out of the water.’

The camera then cut to Aimee’s character Chelsea — played by Sarah Sherman — who appeared with exaggerated buck teeth and asked, ‘Fluoride? What’s that?’

Aimee didn’t hold back in her response, slamming the segment for being lazy and cruel: ‘Such a shame cuz I had such a great time watching it a couple weeks ago. Yes, take the p**s for sure — that’s what the show is about — but there must be a cleverer, more nuanced, less cheap way?’

She added that she’d received ‘thousands’ of supportive messages from fans and her sister Emily. 

‘I am not thin-skinned. I actually love being taken the p**s out of when it’s clever and in good spirits,’ she wrote. ‘But the joke was about fluoride. I have big gap teeth, not bad teeth.’

‘I don’t mind caricature — I understand that’s what SNL is. But the rest of the skit was punching up and I / Chelsea was the only one punched down on… Okay end of.’

She ended her statement by reposting a comment from a fan who said, ‘It was a sharp and funny skit until it suddenly took a screeching turn into 1970’s misogyny,’ with Aimee adding, ‘This sums up my view.’

Goggins’ hosting comes after Wood was left in tears over a ‘cruel and unfunny’ SNL skit which saw Sarah Sherman (right) wear huge prosthetic teeth while parodying the Brit actress 

In what many saw as a peace offering, Aimee later shared a fan drawing of her and Goggins in character on The White Lotus, suggesting tensions may have cooled. 

The artwork was posted to her Instagram Stories with no caption — but it spoke volumes.

The post came amid reports the two are expected to reunite soon for a professional obligation. 

Entertainment reporter Elizabeth Wagmeister shared on The Viall Files podcast that she learned ‘off the record’ the pair are set to ‘do something professionally in the coming weeks together.’

‘So, if there really is a feud, this has not stopped them… It’s not like they can’t be in the same room,’ Wagmeister added, hinting that the rift may not be as explosive as other rumored co-star feuds, like Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.

And in a surprising turn, Aimee revealed she received a heartfelt apology from SNL cast member Sarah Sherman — days after she was seen crying in London. 

Posting a pH๏τo of a beautiful floral arrangement to her Instagram Story, Aimee captioned it, ‘Thank you for the beautiful flowers.’

The White Lotus star made it clear her issue was never with Sherman personally: ‘I wasn’t hating on her — I was hating on the sketch.’
