Hollywood star Blake Lively has found an unlikely source of support amid her ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni – the fans of Welsh football club, Wrexham FC.
For months, Blake has been the focus point of much scrutiny and criticism after she sued her It Ends With Us co-star Justin for Sєxual harᴀssment and retaliation.
He vehemently denies her allegations and filed a $400million defamation and extortion lawsuit against her, Ryan and their publicist Leslie Sloane. It is due to be heard in court in March 2026.
But Wrexham fans have remained loyal to the couple, insisting that they ‘won’t hear a word against’ their superstar owners.
On Saturday, football fans were delighted when Wrexham AFC won a historic third successive promotion to reach the Championship – with Blake and Ryan in attendance to watch the big moment.
The couple were surrounded by Wrexham fans, with Blake later thanking them for the ‘warmth and embrace’ they had shown her.

Alongside a slew of pictures from the match, Blake shared on Instagram: ‘@wrexham_afc thank you to the entire town, everyone who flew in far and wide, and to everyone on the field and off, from groundskeepers to stewards, gift shop to PT, kit managers to self elected chant writers.
‘History was made yesterday not just with you, but because of you.
‘I’ll always appreciate the warmth and embrace that you give me and my loved ones, in a way usually reserved for family.
‘Your pᴀssion and the ferocity of your joy is the magic. Thank you for an unforgettable day. And for being a key part of our lives every day.
‘Congratulations to the entire team, their families and the one and only Phil Parkinson. You show us all that impossible dreams really can come true. ♥️
‘@robmcelhenney & vancityreynolds my favorite “crazy ones, misfits, rebels, troublemakers, round pegs in the square holes… ones who see things differently”. Thank you for the community and elation you bring me, your family’s and so many.
‘And congratulations to the @wrexhamafcwomen on another incredible season. We’re so proud of you and grateful to all you do to elevate girls dreams.
‘Seeing so many little girls on the pitch last night wearing Wrexham jerseys was one of my highlights’.

Blake took to Instagram on the weekend to share a slew of snaps from her time at the match
Ryan and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Rob McElhenney bought Wrexham for £2million back in 2020, while it was languishing in non-league football, since chairing it to unprecedented success.
Blake – who has been forced to limit Instagram comments in the wake of her lawsuit – is a regular fixture at the games and has been shown support from the residents of Wrexham.
Café owner Harry Gould, 29, said; ‘Ryan has been fantastic for the club and town. He has done so much for the place and we think so much of him. We fully back Ryan.’
Blake was no doubt grateful for a distraction in the wake of Thursday night’s TIME100 Gala, for which she received backlash for her speech.
In her speech, Blake alluded to her legal war with former co-star Justin, while revealing her mother’s past ᴀssault by a ‘work acquaintance.’
‘I have so much to say about the last two years of my life, but tonight is not the forum,’ she said, hinting at her ongoing bitter court battle with Justin.
Instead, she decided to speak about ‘the feeling of being a woman who has a voice today.’
Blake shared that her life was ‘influenced most’ by her mother, Willie Elaine McAlpin, who was the ‘survivor of the worst crime someone can commit against a woman.’

She said: ‘My mom never got justice from her work acquaintance who attempted to take her life when she was the mother of three young kids years before I was born’,
Blake stated that her mother credited a woman who shared a ‘similar circumstance’ on the radio with saving her life.
‘The woman painfully and graphically shared how she escaped. And because of hearing that woman speak about her experience instead of shutting down in fear and unfair shame, my mum is alive today. She was saved by a woman whose name she’ll never know.’
She then called womanhood a ‘pact that privately we must show others how to survive, literally or spiritually.’
‘We don’t let our daughters know, but one day we break their hearts by letting them in on the secret that we kept from them as they pranced around in princess dresses that they are not and will likely never be safe at work, at home, in a parking lot in a medical office, online — in any space they inhabit physically, emotionally, professionally.’
Blake called the ‘superpower of female triumph’ a ‘basic human right,’ and added, ‘Never underestimate a woman’s ability to endure pain.’
While she also paid tribute to Ryan, as she thanked ‘every man, including my sweet husband, who are kind and good when no one is watching.’
But fans were left unimpressed by the speech, taking to social media to blast Blake for sharing her mother’s trauma as an ‘obvious PR move’ amid her ongoing feud with Justin.
Many fans criticized the star for using her mother’s ordeal in the speech, after remaining silent on domestic violence while promoting It Ends With Us — directed by and co-starring Justin — which portrayed an abusive relationship.
