Peppa Pig star Mummy Pig has revealed that she and Daddy Pig have been brought closer together amid her pregnancy.
Mummy Pig broke the internet back in February when she revealed live on Good Morning Britain that she is pregnant with her third piglet.
And after revealing the gender of her little one, the pig matriarch opened up on the support that Daddy Pig has given her as they prepare to grow their family.
In an interview with Grazia magazine, in which she posed for a stunning pregnancy shoot, Mummy Pig responded positively when asked if she’s closer to her husband as she gushed at how the pregnancy has strengthened their bond.
She shared: ‘Oh yes! He’s always been such a supportive partner – and an excellent Daddy to Peppa and George – but this has brought all of us even closer. Even when there’s so much to organise and prepare before the new arrival, he is kind and funny and always quick to do whatever needs to be done to look after ‘Team Pig’ as he likes to call us.’
She went on to emphasize the pair’s teamwork when it comes to juggling their busy schedules with older children Peppa, four and George, two, before noting that they’ll soon be ‘outnumbered’ when piglet number three arrives.

She remarked: ‘Juggling life, work and two little ones is quite second nature to us now – we’re a great team and support each other. Communication is key!
‘Of course, a third little piggy does mean we’ll be outnumbered, so things will get busier… and the house might get messier… and smellier. But we’ll manage. It’ll all be worth it when we come together for a family squish at the end of the day.’
Meanwhile, while she’s fully prepared for her growing litter, the sow admitted that she still feels ‘a little nervous’ at becoming a mother-of-three, adding that she’s feeling ‘everything, all at once!’
Still, Mummy Pig is taking everything in her stride as she quipped ‘expect the unexpected’, noting that Daddy Pig is great at giving her some respite as he takes on playing duties with their eldest children.
During the candid chat, Mummy Pig also revealed her bizarre cravings of peanut ʙuттer and pickle sandwiches, while revealing she and her partner are having ‘difficulty’ in narrowing down a name for their piglet.
It comes just days after Peppa Pig fans were left delighted after the gender of Mummy Pig’s baby was revealed.
On Friday, the Battersea Power Station chimneys lit up pink to reveal Mummy and Daddy Pig were expecting a baby girl – a little sister for Peppa and George.

The hour-long, song-filled screening features 10 brand-new episodes, as Peppa and George prepare for the arrival of their baby sister.
In addition, the gender reveal episode will air on YouTube on May 3 as part of the Peppa Pig Tales series.
Peppa Pig first aired in 2004 and has since been broadcast in 180 territories and translated into 40 languages. It’s spawned books, toys and even two theme parks, with the global Peppa empire now worth over £1billion.
Creators Neville Astley and Mark Baker admitted they were worried the idea would never get off the ground, and that people were initially bored with the idea.
People in the pub would ask us, “What are you drawing?” We’d say, “A pig, called Peppa, it’s going to be big.” They’d lose interest and wander off’, explained Astley.
The pair created Peppa and her family while working in each other’s houses or at the local pub.
