Joel floored fans on Saturday after revealing his exhausting schedule prior to the marathon itself.
The comedian, 39, revealed his journey to the finish line actually began the afternoon before when he set off from his house in South West London.
He proceeded to travel to Leeds for a comedy show before driving two and a half hours to Cambridge for the night.
Joel had a brief six and a half hours sleep – with the ᴀssumption that he slept straight away on arriving in Cambridge – before getting up again at half 6 on Sunday and leaving his H๏τel at 6:45 to travel to Greenwich roundabout.
His schedule, written out precisely on a white board and shared on Instagram, doesn’t end there as he then undertook a half an hour warmup run as he made his way to the starting line ahead of the marathon.
Joel hopes to complete the marathon in under three hours, no mean feat, before meeting his wife Hannah Cooper and baby son Wilde at the finish line.
He explained he needed to stick to his three hour time in order for Wilde to be able to get an afternoon nap in the car ride home.

Earlier this month, she had to undergo an emergency procedure due to complications and has been advised to remain in hospital until she reaches a certain number of weeks in her pregnancy, as there are concerns she could go into early labour.
However, she made sure to still show her support for Zion, who is running to raise funds for the Twins Trust charity which supports parents of multiples as well as improving maternity care and research.
Watching the BBC coverage on TV as her boyfriend lined up with thousands of other runners at the start line, Jesy gushed: ‘I feel so emotional this morning knowing my baby is running the marathon for our babies and for @twinstrust. @zionfoster my heart feels so proud of you, you got this my angel’.
