The streaming giant recently confirmed that Mary Steenburgen will be joining her husband of 30 years Ted Danson on the hit comedy series.
Danson stars as Charles, a widowed retiree who gets a ‘new lease on life’ when he secretly teams up with a private investigator to solve a case inside a senior living community.
According to Netflix, Steenburgen will play ‘a former musician who factors heavily into the case Charles is trying to solve.’
The show has been a fan favorite since its November debut, earning Danson Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations for his performance as the charming amateur sleuth.
Now, fans are buzzing over the iconic couple’s onscreen reunion, after the two were spotted filming in Los Angeles on Wednesday — walking side by side and appearing in high spirits while shooting scenes outdoors.
