Outer Banks star Madison Bailey is facing rumors that her and her girlfriend Mariah Linney have broken up after over four years of dating.

The actress, 26, and the former basketball player, 26, became romantically linked in 2020 after connecting on social media.

But Bailey and Linney recently sparked split speculation after fans noticed that they had seemingly unfollowed one another on Instagram.

And now the couple also appears to have untagged each other from pH๏τos featured on their respective Instagram feeds.

DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives for Bailey and Linner for comment.

Linney and Bailey’s romance began after they met via the video sharing app TikTok amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

After exchanging messages back-and-forth on Instagram, the couple eventually met in person and started dating soon after. 

Linney has accompanied Bailey to countless red carpet events, including the Outer Banks season three premiere and Paris Fashion Week.

The couple also featured one another on their respective Instagram and TikTok pages, giving fans a glimpse into their relationship.

However, Bailey hasn’t posted Linney on Instagram since February when she uploaded a pH๏τo dump for her 26th birthday.

She included a pH๏τo of herself and Linney looking loved up as they partook in a pottery class.

Bailey has also attended a number of high-profile events solo, including the recent Billboard Women In Music celebration and the star-studded Fashion Trust U.S. Awards.

Since going public with her and Linney’s relationship, Bailey has opened up about her panSєxuality.

Just weeks after coming out as panSєxual in a TikTok video, Bailey revealed she ‘doesn’t believe in straight people’ in June 2020.

She did so during an Instagram Live interview, where she stated that she believes most people are Sєxually fluid, even if they aren’t aware of it.

‘I was saying this the other day – I was like, to be honest, I don’t believe in straight people,’ she said while chatting to mental health advocate Lacy Hartselle.

‘They’re as real as unicorns to me.’

Bailey, who plays fun-loving Kiara Carrera on the hit Netflix show Outer Banks, said that, when it comes to her own Sєxuality, she has always felt free to live openly, explaining that she feels fortunate that nobody in her life has ever tried to shame her or force her to change.

‘I feel zero shame, and I don’t feel that way (ashamed) because nobody’s ever really shamed me for it and I know a lot of people have had lot of hate and lack of support,’ she told Lacy.

‘I know so many, countless stories of queer people that did not have support. But if you’re asking me personally, that’s just my experience with it. It was worth it. I feel lighter, I feel happier that I can just be so open and honest. It feels nice.’

Bailey urged other members of the LGBTQ community to come out publicly if they feel safe and ready – saying that living openly is ‘worth it’.

Split speculation around Bailey’s relationship with Linney comes just months after rumors about her ‘feud’ with Outer Banks co-star Rudy Pankow, 26.

It was speculated that when fans began shipping Bailey and Pankow’s characters Kiara and JJ as well as the actors themselves, that it caused discomfort for their real-life partners and a strained relationship between the two actors.

Outer Banks follows the lives of John B. (Chase Stokes), Sarah (Madelyn Cline), Kiara (Bailey), JJ (Pankow), Pope (Jonathan Daviss), and Cleo (Carlacia Grant) as they hunt for treasure.

The fourth season finale finished off with Pankow’s character dying in Kiara’s arms in a heartbreaking scene.

JJ was fatally stabbed by his own father Chandler Groff (played by J. Anthony Crane) in Morocco after he had pulled out a knife on Kiara and tried to rob them of their treasure.

Many fans have been left convinced that Pankow had been written off the show due to the rumored feud with Bailey.

Split speculation around Bailey’s relationship with Linney comes just months after rumors about her ‘feud’ with Outer Banks co-star Rudy Pankow, 26

The feud rumors first started in June of last year, when he cast had a dinner that included Bailey, Pankow, and Pankow’s girlfriend, Elaine Siemek.

Following the dinner, Bailey and her girlfriend Mariah Linney, who was not present, both unfollowed Pankow’s girlfriend, according to Style Caster. Siemek also unfollowed them both.

Pankow unfollowed Linney, but continued to follow Bailey, and she continued to follow him as well.

Neither of them has said anything in public about the rumored rift between them.
