Louis Tomlinson and Zara McDermott spent the entirety of Easter together – and only snuck out of their love nest to stock up on snacks from a Sainsbury’s Local.

The couple were seen shopping at a supermarket in north London on Easter Sunday days after arriving back from Los Angeles, where they were pictured sealing their new romance with a loving kiss.

They have been inseparable since their relationship was made public in March, three months after MailOnline revealed Zara, 28, and ex-boyfriend Sam Thompson, 32, had parted ways.

Zara and Sam were together for five years before they split at the end of 2024 shortly after the Made In Chelsea favourite had worked in Australia for I’m A Celeb spinoff show Unpacked. 

The BBC documentary maker’s new romance was revealed after she and Louis were seen enjoying a dinner and overnight stay together at The Suffolk in Aldeburgh following reports of Zara’s new closeness with the star’s half-siblings. 

A stunned onlooker, who spotted the lovebirds, said the former One Direction singer, 33, was incredibly ‘affectionate’ with Zara, famed for her appearances on Love Island and Strictly Come Dancing, and the pair looked totally ‘smitten’ with each other.

A source revealed: ‘Zara and Louis looked so loved up together, they were completely smitten.

‘It was a shock seeing two people who are very famous act so casually in each other’s company, they certainly didn’t mind who saw them holding hands and shopping in their local Sainsbury’s.

‘Louis had his arm around Zara, he looked very protective of her, while she was stroking his back, it was very sweet to witness.

‘The fact it was Easter Sunday said a lot too, it’s such a special day and they were spending it happily together in a supermarket.’

Louis and Zara have been spending time with each other both in the UK and the States after making their relationship official.  

While they’re yet to post a picture together, the couple has shared matching Instagram stories including from a Stereophonics gig. 

Fans first suspected that they had grown close after spying that Louis’ half-sisters Lottie, Daisy, and Phoebe had started following Zara on social media and were engaging with her profile.  

The former Strictly contestant, who appeared on the series in 2023 alongside axed pro dancer Graziano Di Prima, is yet to publicly speak on her relationship with Louis but sources close to the star say she’s very ‘happy.’

Sources close to the This Morning presenter said he is currently enjoying his single status as well as focusing on work post-split from Zara.

Sam is now a regular fixture on the ITV daytime programme, hosting compeтιтion segments and events, which in recent weeks have seen him attempt to break a Guinness World Record.

While Zara has been spending a lot of her time with new boyfriend Louis, her dedication to work hasn’t faltered. 

Last week, she unveiled her debut swimwear collection with brand Rise and her latest documentary, which explores the impact of stalking, will be available to watch soon. 

Speaking on Instagram, Zara said filming the two-part series has been ‘one of the most eye opening, emotional films’ she has made.
