Celebrity Big Brother fans all have the same complaint about face-to-face nominations ahead of brutal triple eviction

Celebrity Big Brother fans all have the same complaint after watching Monday night’s brutal face-to-face nominations.

During the show, five housemates were put forward for eviction ahead of a shocking triple eviction – Patsy Palmer, Chris Hughes, Ella Rae Wise, Angellica Bell, and Danny Beard.

The group were given two Easter eggs each and had to place them into the baskets of the housemates they would like to nominate.

However, viewers pointed out that the housemates were not made to lock in their nominations beforehand so the celebs could have voted for each other in retaliation and changed their votes mid-way through.

Taking to X, fans quipped: ‘They should’ve made them write the name of their noms down at the start. People could’ve changed their minds as they go along #cbb.’

‘Oh ffs, are they not making them lock in their nominations first again? #CBBUK #CBB.’

‘Face to face noms are s***. It’s even worse when they haven’t been made to lock their choices in before everyone starts announcing theirs. People can change their minds and retaliate if someone votes for them ffs #cbb.’

‘Thing with face to face nominations are the more people that do it, the easier it is for others to follow suit in why they are nominating that person, If it been in the diary room, the reasons would have been completely different & possibly even the person #CBBUK #CBB #VOTE.’

‘I think Ella’s nom for Chesney was a retaliation nom & she used something to cut deep and hurt him while victimising herself to gain sympathy.

‘She’s never once mentioned this to him or any housemate, she hasn’t nominated for those reasons before. It just felt nasty #cbb #CBBUK.’

‘I felt that Ella’s nomination to Chesney was in retaliation, I don’t think she would’ve nominated him if she had gone first. #CBB #CBBUK.’

‘I like Danny but he definitely nominated Chris because Chris nominated him.’

‘I think some of the noms are defo retaliation. Should have been allowed to sit and think before they voted.’

Even last year’s Big Brother finalist Henry Southan revealed they had to lock in their face to face nominations during his civillian series.

He took to X to comment: ‘We had to lock in our face to face noms before we started. Doesn’t seem like they have here? Will people not just retaliate? #CBBUK.’

Others quickly replied: ‘Yes! Just thinking that. The ones who vote last have the advantage. They can see how the voting is going and sway it their way #CBBUK.’

‘They should be lock in before the start of face to face it stop people changing their mind and game playing.’

‘They did it like this on the celeb one last year aswell! They should totally be locked in first!’

‘Perhaps they did as JoJo would probably have gone for Danny too in retaliation for Chris.’

During the tense episode, Angellica nominated Patsy and Jack, while Chesney Hawkes went for Patsy and Ella.

It was then Chris’ turn, and his eggs went in Ella and Danny’s baskets while Danny picked Chris and JoJo, blaming their bond on excluding others.

Donna chose Angellica and JoJo, while Ella opted for Chesney and Chris.

JoJo was up next and nominated both Patsy and Ella, which caused the TOWIE star to break down in tears and storm out of the nominations room.

In a savage plot twist, one of the nominated housemates was given a chance to save themselves if they found the golden egg hidden in a basket in the middle of the room

When she returned, it was Patsy’s time in the H๏τ seat, and she gave her two eggs to Ella and Angellica.

In a savage plot twist, one of the nominated housemates was given a chance to save themselves if they found the golden egg hidden in a basket in the middle of the room.

And lucky for dancer JoJo she was the first to find the egg but in a dramatic twist she then had to replace herself by giving someone else the chop who was not nominated.

The Dance Moms star chose Danny Beard to swap places with her as she claimed he didn’t always ‘read the room’.

The Drag Queen star was left less than impressed and hit back, ‘I always read the room, that’s my job’.

That means Danny joins Patsy, Angellica, Chris and Ella, who are all at risk of being dumped – and only two of the five will survive Triple Tuesday.

Celebrity Big Brother continues at 9pm on Tuesday on ITV1, ITVX, STV & STV Player
