Stunned EastEnders fans have only just realised how many people live in Sonia Fowler’s house.
Sonia (Natalie Cᴀssidy) originally lived in her modest abode on Albert Square with only her ex-partner Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman).
Since giving birth to their daughter Julia and Reiss’s death, she has welcomed multiple people into her three-bedroom home.
Currently, it is thought that a total of 12 people live in Sonia’s house, as well as a dog and a parrot.
The long list of inhabitants include Sonia herself, before she left during an episode last week, her daughters Bex (Jasmine Armfield) and Julia, her sister Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer).
She also offered Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) a roof over her head and three of her children, Johnny, Annie and Ollie.

While Linda’s own mother, Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) and her husband George Knight (Colin Salmon) live there too, as well as George’s brother Kojo Asare and daughter Anna.
One fan pointed out on Reddit how many inhabitants there appeared to be and commented: ‘How is this explained in the canon when it looks like a 2-up-2-down, not even a third story?’

Others replied: ‘I still don’t understand how they all fit into the flat above the Vic but now in Sonia’s house with 3 other women and a baby too it’s even more ridiculous.’
‘I mean, the Carter/Knights should have split up into various houses around the square.’
‘That’s an awful lot of toilet roll to buy each month. Come on let’s do the maths…’
‘I think way too much about where people sleep in these houses.’
‘The Slaters beat that a few years ago. I think they hit 17 at one point. Even Whitney was living there.’

In typical EastEnders style, Sonia’s exit was full of drama, tears and funny moments, with scenes seeing her steal her estranged father Terry Cant’s (Glen Davies) plane tickets, boat and car after locking him in a shed.
The episode also featured a heartwarming recording of Sonia’s beloved late step-grandmother Dot Cotton (June Brown), while Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley) made a brief return as she visited him in prison for advice on whether she should leave.
As Sonia finally departed the square on the back of a speedboat on a trailer, she was waved off by a plethora of residents, with her, Bianca, Bex and Julia’s departure spelling four character exits in one go.
However, some fans didn’t notice Sonia’s baby, Julia, be carried into the car by Bex and took to social media to express their confusion.
