Usher looked in good spirits as he chatted to British formula one driver Oliver Bearman on the grid ahead of the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix on Sunday. 

The America singer, 46, seemed to be enjoying himself as he caught up with the new 19-year-old Haas driver before the race at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. 

Usher cut a cool figure in a brown bomber jacket which he layered over a white shirt and a matching pair of smart trousers. 

The OMG hitmaker rocked a pair of brown shoes and completed his look with a pair of tinted sunglᴀsses. 

He flashed a smile as he was given a VIP entrance into the Paddock as he headed to meet CEO of the Formula One Group, Stefano Domenicali.

It comes as McLaren’s Oscar Piastri won the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix and usurped Lando Norris as the new championship leader after a dominant drive in Jeddah.

Piastri took the chequered flag ahead of Max Verstappen after the world champion was hit with a five-second time penalty for cutting the chicane at the first corner.

Norris lined up 10th on the grid after a costly crash in Q3 yesterday but delivered a resurgent performance to finish fourth, behind Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc.

George Russell and Kimi Antonelli came fifth and sixth respectively while Lewis Hamilton, still fighting to get to grips with his Ferrari, settled for seventh.

It has attracted the stars as Jennifer Lopez turned heads in a pink leather catsuit as she arrived at the paddock ahead of her headline performance at the circuit. 

The singer, 55, put on an age-defying display as she flaunted her toned physique in the figure-hugging Barbie pink one-piece.

Her statement ensemble featured a zip down the front and a gathered silk belt tied with a circular metal ring.

She added inches to her frame as she slipped into a pair of towering stilettos and toted around her belongings in a silver box-shaped clutch.

To finish her bold outfit choice, she wore a pair of pink-tinted sunglᴀsses and slicked her long brunette tresses into a high ponytail.

It is Jennifer’s first performance at an F1 event in 11 years, having previously headlined at the 2014 Singapore Grand Prix.

The singer was joined by Party Next Door, Major Lazer and Usher.

Elsewhere, Usher has been accused of committing a ‘contemptuous act’ while staying at a H๏τel in Paris on his European music tour this week.

The rapper caused a stir online after he was filmed talking to a member of staff working at the Baccarat H๏τel, where prices start at a mᴀssive $1135 per night.

However, fans reacted after he appeared to call a doorman over to hold it open for him as he exited the building with a female companion.

While Usher held the door open for his friend, he appeared less than impressed that nobody was there to hold it open for him as he left.

After a video of the moment was shared online, fan slammed the star with some claiming he was in the wrong for his behaviour.

Sharing their thoughts on the controversial clip, some said: ‘He is rude, the least he could have done would have been to open the door for the woman accompanying him or ask the employee to do so’;

‘But who does he think he is, he is unknown to the battalion with his smile there’; ‘The guy is incapable of thinking of opening the door for the girl who is with him but demands that it be held for him: what a f***ing diva’;

‘It just proves that he’s a huge idiot and that we should never glorify anyone. He thinks that because he sings and dances at the same time it makes him a superman? We saw the reality of these people during Covid’;

‘Who does he think he is? They have so much money that they think they’re supermen’; ‘A little humility wouldn’t hurt him, I find it detestable, he poops like everyone else.’

However, some argued that the doorman wasn’t doing his job properly and Usher was in the right to ask him to grab the door.

They said: ‘At the same time, the doorman has one thing to do: open and hold the door. Usher didn’t yell at him either. If I’m not doing my job properly, it’s normal for someone to point it out to me’; 

‘The doorman didn’t see it, which is indeed very serious! Luckily, I’m not a star and I can open the doors myself’; In my opinion, the doorman should be thrown out….’;

‘When you pay a certain price you expect a certain service. Those who don’t understand this have simply never set foot in a certain type of establishment.’

‘It’s the Doorman’s job to open the DOORS! He’s paid for that. Why isn’t he at his post? Usher doesn’t make a fuss and points it out to him rather neatly, but since it’s filmed and on social media, people get so worked up over nothing, as usual. 

‘He’s absolutely right to do that. We need to shock the people who don’t do their job a little. There are more and more of them. In more and more fields. You’re paid to hold the door, you hold the f***ing door.’

Before performing in Paris, Usher completed a 10-night residency at London’s O2 Arena. 

He performed sold-out shows in the capital as he comes to the end of his mammoth Past Present and Future tour.

The 78-date run has seen him travel across the United States and Europe and will come to a close in May after his final two back-to-back shows at The O2. 

The tour has been in support of Usher’s ninth studio album Coming Home. It was released in February 2024 – two days before he headlined the halftime show in Las Vegas.

It features 20 tracks and collaborations with the likes of 21 Savage, Summer Walker and Latto.
