Concerned This Morning fans shared their concern after a host disappeared from the show without explanation – being replaced by a controversial stand-in.   

This week has seen a number of presenters stand-in for Cat Deeley, 48, and Ben Shephard, 50, due to the Easter holidays.  

The past two weeks have seen Dermot O’Leary, 51, with Sian Welby, 38, and Friday’s instalment returned to the usual presenters, Dermot and Alison Hammond, 50.

This Monday will also see another presenter shake-up as Alison told viewers on Friday: ‘Josie and Andi Peters will be keeping you company on Easter Monday.’

Dermot added: ‘All the latest gossip rom the Celebrity Big Brother house, Will Best joins them in the studio.’

And Alison finished up with: ‘And they discover the surprising health benefits of a cup of tea.’

Some viewers took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their worry over the fact they haven’t seen Craig Doyle in a while

Some viewers took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their worry over one presenter that they haven’t seen in a while. 

One wrote: ‘Andi on Monday? Have they secretly got rid of Craig? #thismorning.’

‘Wonder what’s happened to Craig.’

Craig is a regular stand-in presenter alongside Josie. 

The Irish TV star joined the This Morning team in 2021 and has also presented compeтιтions and entertainment segments. 

Meanwhile Josie joined the show in 2018 and presented compeтιтions, as well as becoming a stand-in presenter. 

Andi has hosted compeтιтions for Good Morning Britain, This Morning, Lorraine and Loose Women over the past 11 years.

But in the last week Andi has received a lot of criticism.

Good Morning Britain viewers blasted ITV for ‘top quality gaslighting’ as they sunk their claws into his latest broadcast. 

The children’s TV host has been in Orlando, Florida, to inform fans of the programme’s compeтιтion to Walt Disney World Resort in the US.  

All week viewers have seen Andi inform viewers about the compeтιтion all the way from America – and those watching at home weren’t very impressed with him flying over to the US just to present the segment.

Back in February viewers ‘switched off’ as they blasted the show’s ‘unacceptable and unnecessary’ report from Andi. 

The star jetted off to Cape Town in South Africa to inform those watching at home about the programme’s latest compeтιтion. 

Andi and the likes of Kate Lawler, Josie Gibson and Jeff Brazier regularly appear on GMB, Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women to share compeтιтions with viewers.

The stars present from a number of incredible places, including Jeff in Thailand back in January.  

But some rushed to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their frustrations over Andi hosting the segment in a different country. 

One wrote on the social media platform: ‘@gmb now your silly compeтιтion that the vast majority of people lose is now being pushed from South Africa – what’s your accumulated carbon footprint?”

A second added: ‘@GMB @ITV @itvnews Any particular reason why Andy Peters has to travel 6009miles to Cape Town to flog us a compeтιтion??

‘His carbon footprint must be insane and totally unacceptable and unnecessary. You never see him on anything other than Good Morning Britain!’

Just yesterday GMB viewers ‘switched off’ after a presenter shake-up so infuriating it sent ‘their blood pressure soaring’.

Susanna Reid, 54, who usually presents the ITV show alongside Ed Balls, 58, Richard Madeley, 68, and Kate Garraway, 57, Monday to Wednesday, with alternative Thursdays, has taken some time off. 

Monday and Tuesday’s instalment has been presented by Richard and Charlotte Hawkins, 49.
