Fans of The Feud are only just realising the lead star is a nepo-baby with very famous actor parents.

The six-part Channel 5 drama follows suburban neighbours whose dream home extension quickly spirals into a nightmare.

Rupert Penry-Jones, 54, stars in the new series, portraying John Bartlett alongside his onscreen wife Emma, played by Jill Halfpenny, 49.

While it is well known the actor is married to award-winning actress Derevla Kirwan, 53, they are not the only famous faces in the family.

Rupert comes from a very impressive family of actors and he and his brother Laurence both followed their parents into the limelight.

But can you guess who they are?

It’s Welsh actor Peter Penry-Jones and English actress Angela Thorne.

Rupert’s late father, who died of bowel cancer in Anglesey in 2009, aged 70, boasted a very impressive CV.

During his active years, he worked with the iconic actor Laurence Olivier at The National Theatre.

He also made appearances on the small screen in shows like Midsomer Murders and Bergerac.

Meanwhile, Rupert’s mother is actress Angela, sadly pᴀssed away at the age of 84, in 2023.

She became a household name thanks to her role as Marjory Frobisher in popular BBC sitcom To The Manor Born.

The show ran from 1979 to 1981 before later returning for a one-off special in 2007.

As for theatre, she played Margaret Thatcher in Anyone for Denis?, and was nominated for Best Comedy Performance at the Laurence Olivier Awards, before reprising the role in the film.

He has also starred as Joseph Chandler in Whitechapel, Clive Reader in Silks and joined Halfpenny in the cast of The Drowning.

He played Mayor Don Mitchell, Jr. in the recent television Batman spin-off The Penguin.

‘We have a lot of great memories and a lot of great memories of Newcastle, because years ago we worked there for quite a while.

‘We’ve spent a lot of time together working in Newcastle, London, Plymouth, and New York, so it was great to see him and work with him again.’
