Danny Jones shared his first Instagram post since his wife Georgia moved back into their family home following the Maura Higgins kiss scandal. 

The McFly star, 39, is said to no longer have a ‘normal relationship’ with model wife Georgia, 38, six weeks after he was filmed kissing former Love Island contestant Maura Higgins, 34, at a BRIT Awards after party.

It has been over a month since Danny and Georgia, who share six-year-old son Cooper, have been pictured together in public after they seemingly put on a ‘united front’ and decided to remain in their 10-year relationship.

After Georgia moved back in with Danny, he took to social media on Thursday to reflect on the past as he returned to his hometown and posed by his ‘old school bus stop’.

The musician was seen looking away from the camera in the black and white snap as he rocked a quarter zip jumper and black jeans.

He wrote: ‘My old school bus stop.’

Danny and Georgia’s marriage was rocked after the I’m A Celeb winner shared a drunken kiss with campmate Maura at a Universal Records party and further reports claimed the pair had continued their night until 6am, sharing wine together at Nobu H๏τel bar.

Danny, who apologised to his wife and family for ‘putting them in this situation’, has stayed living at the couple’s West London home, where Georgia moved to on her own as he appeared on the ITV jungle series in December.

Now, sources have claimed to MailOnline that despite their efforts, Danny and Georgia are like ‘pᴀssing ships’ and friends fear their relationship is hanging on by a thread.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Danny and Georgia have been trying to navigate a very difficult time in their marriage and for the best part they have been taking each day as it comes.

‘They may be living under the same roof, but they barely see each other and right now are like pᴀssing ships.

‘Danny is preparing for his summer gigs with McFly, and Georgia has been attending influencer events and collaborating with brands, all while looking after son, Cooper, who regularly features on her Instagram profile.

‘But when they’re not working, Danny is out on his motorbike or exercising in the gym, and Georgia is either on her own or spending time with family and girlfriends.

‘They haven’t actually been publicly seen together for six weeks and behind the scenes, their relationship is anything but normal.’

But after deciding to give their marriage a second chance, she returned to the property as sources claimed Danny was willing to do ‘anything to make it work.’

In recent weeks, Georgia has been seen at events including for Marks & Spencer, where she took part in a fitness session with ambᴀssador Alex Scott.

Danny and Maura met as they starred together on last year’s I’m A Celeb, which saw the McFly guitarist crowd winner of the series. 

Following their time on the show, Maura engaged with several of Danny’s Instagram posts including a picture of him performing, commenting two clapping hand emojis and a black love heart.

Danny also liked one of Maura’s uploads, an image of the reality star wearing a figure hugging leopard print dress.

In the aftermath of the kiss, which was captured on film by The Sun, the Voice judge issued a public apology to Georgia and his family, adding ‘I love them so much.’ 

On Instagram, Danny wrote: ‘Hello everyone, sorry it’s taken me a while to post this but I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me. I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately.’

Maura, who split from ex-boyfriend Pete Wicks in February, has not publicly commented on the situation but a week after the scandal hit she flew from the UK to Los Angeles, where she sH๏τ a new collection for fast fashion brand Oh Polly. 

This weekend, she snapped US stars Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber on her Instagram story at Coachella festival, saying: ‘Does this mean we’re besties now?’ 

She posted pH๏τos of herself from the music festival dressed in a cowgirl outfit alongside the caption: ‘Back like I never left.’
