Pirates Of The Caribbean star Jack Davenport looks completely unrecognisable 18 years after the films first premiered. 

The actor, 52, achieved mainstream recognition after he appeared in the first instalment of the Disney series, The Curse Of The Black Pearl in 2003. 

Starring alongside Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom, Jack played pirate James Norrington who was Keira’s character’s fiancé. 

The star was known for his white blonde hair which was styled in two тιԍнт roller curls at the side of his head and his regal pirate attire and sword. 

However now almost two decades later Jack is unrecognisable from his pirate alter ego as he was seen most recently at a press night last year looking dapper in a simple dark grey suit and white shirt. 

The actor was promoting his romantic drama The Human Body alongside his wife Michelle Gomez.

Jack was only supposed to star in the first Pirates Of The Caribbean film, however the film’s producer Jerry Bruckheimer later revealed that due to popular opinion they decided to write him into the script for the following two films. 

And since the trilogy Jack has enjoyed a successful career starring in Dr. Death Season 2, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Why Women Kill, and Ten Percent.

He has also taken on roles in TV drama series’ FlashFoward, Smash, The Morning show and ITV series Breathless. 

Meanwhile Jack isn’t the only Pirates Of The Caribbean star looking unrecognisable, after Johnny Depp also revealed his new look for his upcoming film Day Drinker. 

Making his blockbuster comeback, the Hollywood actor, 61, has ditched his dark locks and facial hair and aged himself grey for the new film. 

His face also appears more filled out and he wears piercing blue contacts. 

Tying his grey locks back from his face, he is also seen without his usual rock star accessories and instead of his quirky glᴀsses and hat wears a normal navy suit and open collared blue shirt. 

Day Drinker marks Depp’s biggest yet attempt to revive his silver screen career amid years of scandal in the wake of his contentious split from ex-wife Amber Heard. 

Jack was seen most recently at a press night last year looking dapper in a simple dark grey suit and white shirt alongside his wife Michelle Gomez

He starred in the film alongside Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp, and while he was only supposed to star in the first film he went on to star in all three due to popular demand

Fans have gone into overdrive over the transformation as they raved about his ‘silver fox’ look and numerous noted the actor looked a far cry from his usual self.

Johnny’s costume also drew comparisons to the actor Jonathan Goldsmith’s role of ‘The Most Interesting Man In The World’ from the Dos Equis commercials.
