Ashley Graham struggled to hold back the tears as she made her Broadway debut in Chicago on Tuesday night.

The iconic model, 37, looked emotional while receiving a rousing reception after putting in a stunning display on the opening night of the musical.

She donned a thick black collared jacket as she took in the adulation of a packed crowd in New York City.

The former Vogue cover star wowed in a sheer bodysuit with sleeves over a black v-neck bodysuit.

Ashley added some jazzy silver heels for the performance and showed them off backstage by doing some moves. 

She paired red lipstick with red nail polish and accessorised with a couple of simple silver stud earrings on each ear.

She enjoyed the special moment with co-star Sophie Carmen-Jones, who looked nothing short of sensational in a black mini dress, teamed with sheer тιԍнтs and a similar black coat.

In Chicago, which is the longest-running musical in Broadway history, nightclub dancer Roxie murders her on-the-side lover before hiring the city’s niftiest lawyer to dupe everyone.

Ashley joins a glittering list of celebrities to have played the legendary character, from Pamela Anderson to Christie Brinkley, and it is certainly a rapid start to her stage career.  

She told the New York Theatre Guide: ‘There has always been this performer in me.

‘I’m going from zero to 100, and I couldn’t be more ecstatic about it.’

It comes after Ashley’s fans asked if she is on a weight loss drug after looking slender in a bright yellow ʙικιɴι from Norma Kamali.

The 37-year-old Vogue cover girl posed for snaps while on vacation with her husband of 15 years, Justin Ervin, in South Beach, Miami, earlier this month.

Fans were quick to comment on her shape with one follower named Wegovy_101 saying, ‘U lost so much weight.’

Model Evelyn Hernandez shared that Ashley is her role model: ‘Such an inspiration for new curve models. I got signed because of you!’ Evelyn is represented by Curve Models.
